I don't agree with fans wearing the red and I am stunned and hurt that they do, but that's what they want to do.
Tan will do what he wants anyway.

Everyone does things in their own way, for now I prefer to just continue to wear my BLUE with pride,

I hope Sian can control them but history has proved that will be very difficult to do. Honestly I can see no good coming from this.

I controlled 3,000 when we marched against the Riddler Tony, not one bad incident, infant we got praise from the media.

Yes you did but marching against Ridsdale and marching against Tans vision are two different things one almost destroyed our club the other saved it and what thanks does he get? protest. Don't be surprised if he says enough is enough

Like I say, I am not marching on it, but they are entitled to their views being heard and yes I want my Identity back,I will be wearing BLUE at every game.
As I have said before Tan will do what he wants and will leave when he is ready.

So do I want a return to blue but dialogue is the way not protest. I don't own a red shirt but you do our club no favour annis by constantly making bluebirds Unite threads into stickies its as good as promoting them and say what you will what they are doing is damaging our club and the fans relationship with our owner. It will all end in tears.

I’ll be there.

I’m pro blue, and I’m willing to prove it, rather than meekly claiming to be pro-blue, but do nothing to stand up for it.

This is a celebration walk to celebrate the history and identity of the club, and our pride in it. What is wrong with that?

The media will be fully briefed on what it is.

If Tan perceives it another way, then perhaps he should stop acting like an innocent little princess and meet with people and engage and discuss their concerns. He couldn’t even be bothered to meet the trust.

The man is head of a company, he needs to engage with ‘customers’, otherwise he brings problems on himself.

That’s the case here. Perhaps if he doesn’t want any problems with fans he should have thought of that before getting rid of 100 years of history and replacing our proud bluebird with a dragon nicked off the Welsh flag.

Are people, really, honestly, criticising Cardiff City fans walking to the ground to honour our clubs identity? Is that seriously what people are doing?

If you are pro-blue, you should consider being on the walk. There is nothing to be ashamed of, and we can’t keep cowering away in case Tan takes offence at anything.

No offence is caused, it’s about being positive about the club’s true identity.

This is pathetic! Why do certain Cardiff fans believe in taking someone for millions and then go back on the deal? would you take money from someone who bought your car, but then still drive off with the money and the car?

Why can't we enjoy the fact that we going to play in the Premier league next season! it may only be one season!

You cannot deny that without VT we would NOT be in the position we are in now!

Obviously you didn't sign a legally binding contract with VT, but collectively we agreed to rebrand in exchange for £100m. The independently thinking point works both ways and if some of us think a protest march (or celebration) is a bad idea then we have the exact same right as you to say so.

Some very good points have been made on this thread, on both sides of the fence, but unfortunately have yet again been derailed by the Chuckmeister. Why the mods allow this to happen I do not know!

I totally respect the democratic right of fans to march and protest but unfortunately in this case I feel it can only undermine the stability that Mr T has brought to this club.

I don't think the OP was saying that BU don't have the right to a "celebration march" - although I think most fans, and certainly the media, will see it as a protest march against our owner. I think he was trying to say there are better ways of achieving their goal, which is a return to blue - namely dialogue with the decision makers at the club.

Without re-reading the thread I believe a key point made by Tony was that we were given the option of investment in return for changing colour. Essentially this was a verbal contract upon which a small minority are now renagging on.

I have total respect for any fans that relinquished their ST's and no longer go to watch us as this must have been an extremely painful decision for them to make. I cannot feel the same about fans who still go to games but continue to put this issue over and above all the good things that Tan has brought to our club, they are very blinkered in my view.

Yes I agree almost 100% of CCFC fans are not happy with the colour change but only a SMALL minority believe we should go against the owner who we had a collective agreement with and hold a protest march after he has delivered on a huge part of his commitment.

Of course you have the right to march, but that doesn't automatically mean you are in the right.

Yea sorry to tell you mate but you didnt sign the deal because your a fan and not a board member...and if you didnt notice before VT came in, we had a massive debt with no one willing to pay and without him the club could have gone down hill!

i havent got a problem with them doing, i'm all for the blue but just dont do on a historic day which is going to disrupt VT and going to broadcast across the whole world.

If i thought that we could have made the leap to the premier league, get debt free and sign names like steven caulker without VT then i'd be at that march! but that isnt the case in my opinion sorry to tell. we needed the money and had to compromise!

All i was saying is forget this pathetic argument between fans because we cant do nothing about expect stop going to games and then the team will suffer, so lets just get behind the team so we can stay in the premier league!

If Sky speak to me i'll say:

We are not against Vincent Tan in any way shape or form, he has worked wonders here. All we
are doing is reminding him that he promised consultation with the fans on any colour changes

and a liking for red and that Cardiff City will be playing in red. But surely sitting down with the
fans and seeing if there is common ground for the shorts/socks/badge cannot harm his desire
for Red. Blue shorts? Why not? Blue socks? why not? Bigger Bluebird? Why not? Surely these
questions cannot be seen as disruptive?

Hundreds? That is still a very small minority as thousands would stand by VT. None of us like playing in red,
but there was a deal
that we rebranded and in exchange VT would invest £100m into CCFC and make the club debt free.

So basically you are saying we should take the cash and then dump all over VT and insist on having the blue back now. People like that are dishonourable and are frankly spoilt bastards who don't like not getting their own way.

Grow up become an adult and understand that life operates on honouring deals and contracts. I for one have NO intention on going back on the deal struck with VT although I will wait patiently for an honourable solution in the future where a possible mutually acceptable time will emerge for a return to blue.

You talk about a deal? What deal? I don't remember VT asking Cardiff fans to sign a deal? Only a select few allowed to vote on shorts
