Firstly you are absolutely correct apart from the fact you wouldn't see many shirts no matter what the colour was. TBH one of the ways that Blue would return very quickly is for us to follow Portsmouth Coventry and Wolves through the trap door into the lower divisions.

But that brings us back to the paradox, would you really want to see Cardiff City fail just so you could push for a return of the blue shirt?

We have had many debates on here about 'proper fans' but surely someone who WANTED CCFC to fail so they could get what they wanted can't possibly claim to be a 'proper fan?' Can they?

If that is what it takes for us to go back to what we are then yes I can live with that.

How can you actively want a club you support to fail, that makes no sense to me.

What a shit example
Doesn't everyone get pissed off with Jehovah's ramming their views down peoples throats?
Let us not bring religion into this though, this is a football forum.

Of course people can do what they want. They are already doing what they want. The majority of our fans just don't agree with them for doing so... and rightly so in my opinion

A lot people a getting pissed off with your inane blabbings too

He's brain washed.one of sians disciples.
I feel sorry for him tbh.

Are you going to stop slagging off Cardiff City fans anytime soon?

Just wondering like.

It makes no sense and is bullshit. Becuase he bought a season ticket and endorsed everything Tan
stands for. Tan does not see any Season Ticket Holders as ''5%ers'' - he sees them as converts. They
can argue the toss until they are blue in the face but its THEIR money that has convinced Tan he
has the backing of the fans

I agree,if fans boycotted on mass things might change but a full stadium gives tan the green light.

What a load of rubbish. What we've achieved was easily achievable in blue. What's so wrong about Cardiff fans wanting to be in blue?!

Thanks redordead you beat me to it,they should leave people to make their own minds up and not keep bullying and ridiculing fans who just want to support their team.

I HATE it when people bring Riverside into this arguement... were you even alive when Riverside were around?

At the end of the day, people are concened about NOW as CARDIFF CITY not years ago before the excistance of Cardiff City. When we played in Blue, was you the only person in the stand chanting "We're Riverside FC, we'll always be brown & yellow"? :laughing6:

People are concered about our "past identity" but only as far back as we can remember. Everyone on this message board probably grew up watching Cardiff City play in blue and that is what fans are fighting for.

Riverside FC :old:

Not having a pop, I can see you are passionate about this subject and good for you. But to me what you are saying is that Cardiff City should stay in a time bubble. We should still be at NP, still in Division 4, still top of the hooligan league and of course still Blue.

If that's what you want then fine, but in the same way that you plead to others that the colour is more important than the success, other supporters will see it differently and want success over a reversing of the rebrand.

ATM there is a clear majority who want the club to progress. From your point of view you that is obviously very sad but you need to understand and accept that red is here for the foreseeable future, no matter how much you 'fight'

Fair enough, I have no arguements against your points as you're a fellow City fan who is also entitled to his opwn opinions but saying "We should still be at NP, still in Division 4, still top of the hooligan league and of course still Blue." is quite inconsiderate in my opinion mate.

Of course that is not what I meant or want as obviously being top of the hooligan league was a shocking title to have and I do not incite violence or hate as that isn't the way I roll :) I PURELY just want Cardiff City to be playing in blue. I just don't find it fair that VT changed our identity without even consulting us.

It is more or less the same story as Red Bull Salzburg's fans went through expect with our fans, we will continue to fight (peaceful protest) for our identity as the Bluebirds until there is no more Cardiff City :D :ayatollah:

10, 20, 30 years down the line there will STILL be this hate of the rebrand and Tan will go down as the person who destroyed our identity... He can alter sooo many fans' opinion of him (including myself) purely just by comprimising with us and allowing Cardiff to play in a blue home strip...
