Sven ghali: that is the best post i have seen to date.I salute you for saying what has to be said.my old man just turned 82 and has purhased a red shirt cos as he rightly said"this is the shirt my team shall wear at home"and seeing as he been attending matches for a lot longer than most who is anyone who calls themself a fan to call him a sellout or traitor to the "club"as he says."I support a team not a colour!"

My only surprise was you kept your post down to two sentences and only one smiley, I could actually read your post without my eyes hurting for a change!" (unquote]

I feel for you, TonTeg Bluebird. Is that the best response you could come up with?

Just for you I have posted this with no 'smilies' (other than the embarrassing one) and using words of as few syllables as I can

But don't you worry about the style of my posts. Concern yourself more with its content, fella

I rarely comment on your posts but where I do it is because I vehemently disagree with your comments, so don't make yourself out to be any more important to me than you really are; because you most certainly are not

What you are, however, is a very vocal component of the anti-Tan faction and (like some others) you have let it become the all consuming factor in your alleged 'support' for the club and I find that more than a little odd, as overall Tan has brought this club into the 21st Century and taken it to the top table of the footballing world

You (and others) harp on about how the club has been destroyed and how there are (quote) "deep divides" between supporters when in reality it is only the vocal few like yourself that keep it 'on the boiler' so to speak

Talk to those outside your own circle of friends, fella. Despite their loud rhetoric, the anti-Tan's are actually a tiny minority of Cardiff City FC supporters and most are grateful and appreciative of the support he has given to Malky in getting us to where we are now and where we hope to remain

You obviously miss the whole point if you genuinely believe that any Bluebird supporter would want to keep the red out of choice but the simple fact is that Vincent Tan has made his decision and isn't about to change it because TonTeg Bluebird doesn't like it and is all consumed with the the issue above everything else that is going so well at a club that was on its knees just a couple of years ago

Your comment (quote) "I pretty much disagree with every post you make" made me smile, fella, and shows the complete lack of understanding you have on the whole situation and of the position the vast majority of supporters have (somewhat reluctantly on the colour issue) taken on where Cardiff City FC were and are in just three or four short years. So with that in mind, I am actually chuffed to beans you disagree with me, fella

I think maybe you would have preferred it if we had taken the Coventry City route but for me personally I think this way is far better! LOL (Note: No 'smilie' used just for you)

I never expected such a turnaround and after too many years supporting a 'sleeping giant' I am ecstatic that we are where we are. Woe betide me for appreciating the men (Malky and Tan) who made it happen though, eh?

What a pity you never expressed your views so loudly when we lived a short distance apart but that's the internet for you, eh?

well said - though the post may be too long for some people to read right to the end. No smilies from me either - just one of these :malky:

I know what you mean about the length, mate. Sorry, but I just had to get it off my chest :malky:

Are you for real?

THE ONLY reason fans are against Tan is due to him changing the identity of our club and killing off our traditions. He has caused a huge divide amongst the fans because of this.

If Tan did a U-Turn on the rebrand and put us back to blue then that is when ALL fans will appreciate him!

Well thats bollocks. Tan was getting constantly slated about the debt, about how hes going
to stitch us up, gone in the summer etc etc etc long before the rebrand he was deliberately
being undermined in a pathetic attempt to grow support for Sam. Some fans are noticeably
less critical of him now because Sam has been paid. surprise surprise

Spot on, fella :ayatollah:

Well well well lets pick on the Sam brigade shall we. Some of us do seem to have a chip on the shoulder against them.

It seems to be you are all a bit annoyed that Sam has not paid what basically was due to him or his associates.

Sorry, I missed the Sam bit. I certainly don't do that (pick on the Sam Brigade) and I repeatedly stated that I will always appreciate that he started this bandwagon rolling, even if he then almost cost us our club

Can you please explain the 2nd line, though? Appreciated :ayatollah:

Mate, it is how I feel and like you I started going down to Ninian Park as a kid with my grandad, who ironically played for Bristol Rovers after the war but loved 'his' City with a passion. His opinion was always that "The Bluebirds could be huge, if only someone with a bit of money could see the potential and do something about it"

He always thought that would happen with Bob Grogan, but sadly he (Grogan) passed away whilst still Chairman

Enter Vincent Tan and say what they like, he has been the financially flush visionary we have looked to attract for far too many years

Of course, the 'usual suspects' will always find fault with something but now do so from a position of security. I'm sure fans over other clubs would swap with us, no matter what the terrace banter may say otherwise

I hope your old man enjoys this historic season and gets to watch Premier League Cardiff City for many years to come :ayatollah:

But we cant forget what Mr Tan has done or be-little him for it, im still amazed he didnt walk away after the playoff final to blackpool.....for that, and seeing us this season i am eternally grateful..... :malky: :malky:

Everything over the last couple of years that has been Anti-Tan apart from the rebrand has had the
mark of that grubby little conman. It would appear that lately, orders seem to be to lie low and give
Tan an easy ride. So am i annoyed he's been paid off? not at all. He was always going to get something
because he was holding up the Clubs progress. Anyone with a hole in their arse could see Langstone
stank of Hammam from the bottom up and he would never have dared enter a High Court again. But its done now.
He's been given a title that is worth no more than a free t shirt and his new mate (  ) Vincent
Tan will wait a respectable amount of time before slamming the door shut for good. Sam knows it. Tan
Knows it. But for the sake of saving Sam some dignity Tan is saying they are close and will always rely on
his new best friend for advice, and stuff. Cos Sam is awesome at running football Clubs, with Cardiff City
on his CV im surprised he wasnt offered Alex Fergusons job     :laughing5: :laughing5:

You seem to have something of a vendetta against Tan,something you accused me of having against Mackay........"let him without sin cast the first stone"

Totally agree on this :!:

In Malky we trust!
Do you remember some of the fans calling Malky and our scouting system rubbish/pathetic... I bet they are eating their hats as we speak :thumbright:
