I suggest you set up a new account then, where it is clear that you are Roath & that you support Swansea.

Exactly. Thats the shocking thing, not the fact Caulker has signed for us.

I watched their fall & rise programme last night, and apart from one or two glaring errors (no mention of shafting the local creditors, making out they had succesive promotions) it was a good watch, and you cannot deny it is a good story. If it was anyone but the Jacks I think we would be applauding if someone like Bradford, or Plymouth for example did something like that.

So theyve got a story as great as that, culminating in their finest hour tonight, and they are more interested in our new signing. Drop the chip off the shoulder ffs!!!

A bit like you lot sacking dave jones the day we got promoted

Absolutely nothing like the Jones sacking... :?

YOUR local paper is talking about a Cardiff signing on the day of your big European return... Says it all. :laughing5:

It is kind of a big deal, let's be fair. The South Wales Echo had a piece on Swansea City being in Europe, so don't be a little snide. Just as bad.

Whats the fact its a swansea paper got to do with anything? They arent swansea supporters hence the constant negative stories and conflict between paper and fans.

Come one mate you arent this thick usually.

A paper that normally dedicates news to Swansea City, should be covering Swansea's landmark game in their return to European Competiton.. Instead, it covers a story about its rivals record signing.

Again, meaning what? The club has no control over the paper, the paper is detested by swans fans for this very point.

I dont seem to quite understand your angle.

South Wales Echo - devoted to Cardiff City - are banging on about Swansea City in Europe so you're points invalid kid. The fans don't own the papers, and to be honest, it is interesting reading about your rival clubs.

How so? Every newspaper which serves South Wales drills up it's pieces on Swansea City & Cardiff City. The newspapers always have a piece on Cardiff, and then Swansea. So don't play "one-up", because it's the same both ways. Even our paper the South Wales Argus has a huge piece devoted to Newport County, and then minor articles about Cardiff City and Swansea City.

You are getting my drift, plus personally I find it interesting to read about rivals clubs. Nice to have a clue, but then again, alot of Cardiff fans haven't been there during their League Two (Division Three) days. Explains those poor attendances you were getting back then.

Questionable Mate, think you would be in similar joy given same scenario when you went up! Don't forget lots of other people are surprised by move so it is brill signing however you look at it.
Should have said would you sign him if had chance?

no question he's a good player but unlike you we don't need to strengthen in that position so really it would have been blowing 9 mill

True but then you got 2yrs start on us! It looks like we are trying to miss out the 1st year consolidation type player and going slightly higher in quality, will be cheaper in long run provided it comes off, as they are younger so have longer life span.

But prefer what we're doing compared to palace or hull, they look like buying to survive only! Looks like malky is buying to do more than that. Even though it is obviously main aim.
but one mans donkey is another's thoroughbred? Even man u made mistakes, So like yourselves up to now we've done ok in transfer market so happy with what's happening,

yes you're buying well by the look of it but i think your ability to pay over the odds puts you in a better place than hull and palace it's what you can afford i suppose , and he might have made you a laughung stock with the badge and playing in blue but he's as good as his word with the cash
all you have to worry about now is can you change your style of play to suit the prem because your direct approach will see you relegated IMO
