Yes, there is. Your agenda is obvious, it is for VT to sell up and leave us in 'good hands' and return to blue.

I do believe it but there is a distinct chance the way certain fans are acting that they will upset him into leaving and if no-one is there to take us we could be in trouble.

It's not that we don't believe he will try and do it, it's that we are unsure how it would work.

Anyway, here is to many years of success under VT :ayatollah:

No agenda. I've written facts, backed up with quotes. If you don't believe Tan on this instance, why? You seem to trust him with everything else. :laughing6:

Hypothetically (as he isn't going anywhere soon) we would owe him that money with immediate effect. However, once he makes the 'debt to equity' move then the whole situation changes and his only 'return' would come from the sale of any shares he has ;)

Quicker that (debt to equity) happens the better position the club will be in, I believe :ayatollah:

i agree,he's got us to the premier league and now he'll reap the benefits and i don't just mean the tv revenue, the publicity to him is priceless. And don't forget he took a punt with us when we were in the shit and invested a lot of money.Like you say he's here for the long run.

If you don't understand what I've written as you appear not to do, then there is no hope here.

I'm glad you believe Tan. There are many hypocrites that don't believe him though, yet are quite happy to believe everything else he says.

I don't think you understand the meaning of the word 'hypocrite' ?

"The practice of claiming to have moral standards or beliefs to which one's own behavior does not conform; pretense."

If we say we believe in Tan but don't, that's hypocrisy. But in your own definition there you say they believe him on some things but not others. That isn't hypocrisy. That's picking and choosing, but not hypocrisy.

You are throwing this very strong word around without knowing what it means.

I have no agenda Barry.

I'm well aware of the meaning... If someone says they trust Tan, but then call him a liar about this... that's hypocrisy.

For the record, I don't trust Tan at all, just wondered why the Tan apologists trust everything he says... apart from this one sentence which doesn't fit their agenda...
