If as quoted you have had a bid accepted this will surely alert other better clubs to his availability so wouldn't get to comfy yet.

Yeah massively, I don't know how we will cope without him. As I said earlier we don't need a centre half, we have a quality pairing in Williams and Chico.

He's behind Vertonghen at Spurs and they have a Romanian international coming in. He'll be 4th or 5th choice. England go to Brazil next summer so he needs to stand out this year and have a whole season thats solid. He'll be guaranteed first team football here as long as hes fit.

Your point is invalid. Get back to shagging Dierdre.

you can talk - you're dead!!

he's a quality centre half who played half their games last year. cannot see him being relegated to 4th choice and therefore loan/transfer and if he was no offence to cardiff but I imagine more established clubs would probably be sniffing and hed be more likely to go there. particularly if theyre london based...

Cardiff is not far from London. He'll go where the money is lets not make any qualms about it.

maybe, although unless youre prepared to pay way over the odds quite a few clubs will match you. depends who spurs want to sell too aswell though. we'll see. would be a quality signing for you if it comes off but personally it doesnt make much sense to me. but then who cares what i think

Cardiff City have made a bid of £8million for Tottenham Hotspur defender Steven Caulker, according to the Mail Online.

The 21 year old is valued at around £12million, but the Bluebirds are hopeful that a deal including add-ons will suffice.

Liverpool and Manchester City have also been linked with a move for the centre-back, but Cardiff are the only club to follow up their interest with an offer.

Caulker broke into the Spurs first team last season having spent the previous three seasons on loan with Yeovil Town, Bristol City and Cardiff’s fierce rivals Swansea City.

However, he started just seventeen league matches under Andres Villas-Boas last season, and with the club having signed Romania international Vlad Chiriches, there is concern that he once again will not get enough games if he stays in North London.

He has just one full international cap to his name, and with the World Cup next summer, will be keen to play regularly in order to be considered as part of Roy Hodgson’s squad should England qualify.
