I just think it's a bit stupid of our fans using this to tell the jacks how to pay debts when we have just squirmed out of debt on a scale 25 times greater on the very same deal. Just a bit unbelievable really, but as I've come to realise on this board over the last few days, there aren't many normal city fans on here. Everyone seems completely detached of reality. Fun to read though

But our debt level IS horrific. We would do the same and rightly so, its disgusting how financially mismanaged we have been and the sole reason we now play in red with a fan base disjointed.

Even if he came clean and said it was the clubs money there is nothing we could have done about it and people still would have loved it at the time and we all know that deep down. Swansea's owners spent poorly and lumbered the club in debt.

The 5p in the pound makes no difference to me. They couldn't afford to pay it back, it was either that or the club cease to exist. In our case we paid £17m less after recieving £90 million for getting to the Prem. it's just a bit of a ridiculous thing to bring up when trying to take the high ground regarding debt, especially when firer still we have about £83 million of unpaid loan notes hanging over our heads on a promise of one man.
