You can Gav. And you you also get some special powers along with the fabled 1981 Fila Invisibility Cape or "La Capa Invisibile" as its known. Its never been seen but that's its very nature. Adidas are also working on a new range of Predator SilverMcNaughtonWifeShagger boots that allow you to walk on water and then turn it into wine whilst shagging 25000 fans wives. They're still perfecting the last pass but you can't have everything.

VT has lived up to his promises so far, and I have no doubt the debt to equity swap will be forthcoming shortly.

As passionate as you feel about the clubs colours surely there must be some part of you that sees the positive steps the Tan is taking to put our club in the most secure state it has ever been in!

As a said on the weekend, credit were its due!

Thank you very much Mr Vincent Tan

Excellent post, Gav, and means far more to Cardiff City FC than some will be prepared to admit ;)

I am pleased for both Sam and Tan (Sam Tan??  ) for sorting it out amicably but most of all I am overjoyed for Cardiff City FC and its genuine supporters; all of whom can now look forward to the future with confidence and positivity

I know Annis and certain others will be overjoyed at this result; particularly with Sam getting the role of Honorary Life President and I personally have no issues with that because (a) Sam started the revolution, and (b) he doesn't have a position that can influence the finances of the club :ayatollah:

He (Annis) must think he is still in the Magic Kingdom!  :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Nobody has ever said that all these things that he's done for the club have not been fantastic.

But it all pales into insignifance with what he's done to our identity.

Why don't some people get that to many of us, no matter how much money he puts in, no matter what players we sign, no matter what division were in, it just doesn't feel like the same club any more.

Do you think we want to feel less passionate about the club we love? Do you think we want to feel like the promotion season which many of us have been waiting for, for years, has been spoiled? No, of course we don't.

If it were up to me, i'd be ignoring the rebrand and loving the fact that we're in the Premier League, and appreciating all the other good things which Tan has undoubtedly done for the club.

No matter how many times people tell us to get over what's happened, and just support the club in the Premier League, it's not that easy. To some people identity is simply more important than the Premier League. Feeling 100% passion when you go to watch your club is more important than anything else.

I'll say it once more... nobody is questioning that Tan has done lots of good things for this club, but why does that mean that we have to accept the rebrand?

Everyone has a point that's too far. If he changed the name of the club to Cardiff Malaysia FC would you still be saying "looking at all the good things he's done for the club, we just have to accept it." The only difference is, our tipping point has come before yours. And for that I envy you. But it doesn't mean we're wrong for feeling like this and wanting our identity back.

I'm glad Tan has helped us out.

I was pissed off with the Malaysia branding but accepted it as a small price to pay for stability.

I'm glad he stopped us from going bust. I'm glad he's forked out heaps of cash.

My only problem with him is that he changed my club's identity from blue to red and divided the fans although I don't have any mates who are pro red which is weird as I'm told I am ini the 5%.

Thanks for the money Tan. Bollocks to you though for changing our shirts to red.

PS I was fucked off with Sam for changing our badge too.

If we had beaten Blackpool I truly believe we would still be wearing blue.

Ah well. I will always be blue.

I don't want VT to leave but if he won't surrender this rebrand then I suppose that is the way it is meant to be.
If he wants to be stubborn then he will have to go up against a few thousand of the most stubborn fans in Europe ;)

"Too much negativity, too long isn't good"
That's what BU believe aswell, atleast Tan and BU can agree on something!

I find it negative how someone can become the top shareholder of a club and rip the identity and soul out of a club for his own greed.
Did he expect ALL fans to accept the red?

I'll never be happy with the rebrand however he has made good his promisses re the historical debt by paying of Langstone

He deserves a lot of credit for that
