I personally think everyone picking holes in BU should grow up and support them. They're the only group making a respectful effort to save our identity. Of course some people are going to get emotional in the group and go over the top, they're human beings and they are saying nothing in comparison to Tan, who labels fans like me a disruptive, ungrateful customer.

If any fan wants us back in blue, stop criticising BU for every tiny, little thing and support them! Sian has recently done a post admitting she can't get everything right but she's trying her best, and good on her for dedicating her time to put all this effort in when those criticising her could not be bothered!

Here we go again, another recruitment failure, if you have any criticism of BU grow up, you got that everyone, any criticism, you need to grow up, no room for criticism here. Well done mate I had reservations boardering on criticism recently, I'll just go and grow up.

Actually I just re read and saw that you personally think people should grow up, so I apologise for any reference to BU.

Maybe you should read posts properly before slating BU, like various others who give them unnecessary criticism.

She did not want to ''front'' the Group in the first place, she was forever asking people
to come forward and take the lead. Well she's just a passionate City fan and at times she is going
to say the wrong thing. It doesnt actually matter WHAT she says, because the Club, or those that are afraid of
upsetting Tan will twist and turn anything she says anyway. She speaks from the heart and in truth
those of us who are dismayed at what Tan has done ARE also dismayed at how easily the rest have
turned over for the sake of Premiership football. So if sometimes she says things that are politically
incorrect? Why on earth would a ''red'' even comment - your already saying that Bluebirds Unite is a
waste of time and that Vincent Tan ''doesnt know it exists'' - so if its so insignificant - ignore it!!!
Stop posting about it!

Wow, enjoyed reading that. Specially the end bit saying BU being a waste of time. If it was such a waste then indeed why quote. People quote because BU is making an impact and may it continue.

Er ummmm.. Im 100% FOR Bluebirds Unite. I think you totally misunderstood my point there :? :ayatollah:

I'm actually 100% agreeing with you Gender. Hence my I enjoyed reading that.

Bit pathetic having a pop at her isn't it..

Clearly trying her hardest and learning along the way so will make mistakes.

Due to some of the followers I don't support BU but having a go at people for trying? No need really.

So why did she diss those who don't agree?

to me BU think you are for them or not a proper fan.

that falls under the learning and making mistakes part

some of them are doing a great job, unfortunately for them they cant get rid of all the idiotic posts all the time, ive seen too many and that is why i personally wont support them, but people having a go (at people having a go) is a bit sad, she is trying let her learn and grow into it.

Surely you can comment if she says something you disagree with? Can't see how that is pathetic

Sian comes across as a respectful and polite woman in fairness. I don't care about Bluebirds Unite as its too late as far as i'm concerned. I also don't care enough to get all emotional over a colour. I won't even be living in a few decades and when all is said and done I want to look back on my life and think I've done well by my family, had a good time and tried my best.

There are good days supporting City. There are bad days like Blackpool at Wembley. The roller coaster is just that and I wouldn't change it for the world. Without the Tan's, the Hammam's and the Riddler we'd be just another boring club floating mid table collecting revenue for some Forbes rich list member playing dire football and being branded boring by the negative media who want to have a pop at us.

I've supported the club for just under 10 years and in that time there has been promotions, derby wins, derby draws, derby losses, cup wins for us, upsetting Premier League teams, stadium moving, better quality players coming in, cup and playoff finals, transfer records broken and so on. There's been debt problems, a divisive fan base, bad reputation and fighting with other fans of other clubs.

I wouldn't change it for the world. I knew what I signed up to when I started supporting. Let the emotional drama continue.

Thats it once again have a go at Bluebirds unite and Sian Brans, why because they are the only ones to have the bollocks to stand up for our identity and are not soul sellers and sell outs

Re: Branson in a pickle?

Mon Jul 22, 2013 7:10 am

BU are doing their best but how hard can it be to have a standard statement on those that seem to reluctantly accept the rebrand even though they would rather be blue?

These are the fans that BU need to attract and it seems quite a few of them are pushed away by statements that call into question their loyalty to Cardiff City.

Just get yourself a few statements that ALL members need to adhere to.

"BU understand other fans views on reluctantly accepting the rebrand and we see them as fans that are just as passionate about the club as us. However, BU are all about a return to the clubs traditional colours and badge. We will continue to lobby on this single issue alone. Hopefully many more of the reluctant reds will see our stance as being a creditable cause and will join us in the near future."

How hard was that. It will get many more followers that the usual, "grow up and support them" or "you're not a proper fan". The odd thing is, for all his business acumen, Tan is not a good tactician. He is used to the masses following his every whim. Therefore BU could easily rise above his "ungrateful" statements and gain further support by taking the moral high ground.

I agree, she has in her statement verbally abused loyal long standing fans who simply want to support Cardiff City.

Maybe she's not the right person to lead bu and should step down immediately.

Oh my.... What a load of tosh. What have you been smoking?

Don't judge someone who is making a positive difference to a lot of fans... Without Sian & BU, myself & thousands of other fans would be trapped with this red. Sian & BU have made us fans realise that it is never too late to fight. Last season, I just dealt with rebrand because I thought nothing could be done to alter it. I didn't accept it - I hated it but I dealt with it because I thought that nothing could be done.

Over these past few months, Sian has showed huge commitment to the BU cause and we all respect her for her views and loyalty to the organisation. You need to take a good look at yourself. Having the username "RedOrDead".... The fans like you could possibly be the reason that the blue never comes back.

How can you claim that if we never went red then we wouldn't have a club anymore? that is pure bullshit... Tan didn't need to alter our identity. At BU, all official statements read towards the fact that they appreciate everything that Tan has done for us financially but are totally against the Blue to Red identity theft.

Ah,there we go again "Soul sellers and sell outs",seems to be a favourite phrase by the BU brigade, will they ever learn, obviously not.I would just love one of these pricks to say it to my face and not behind the safety of a keyboard.

I admire what they're doing but this is the exact reason I don't follow them. They have one spokesperson with her own opinion. One that doesn't always represent mine.
