Croeso is lovely.....meaning 'welcome'. We named a project 'croeso' in a firm I used to work for.......a few months before we went bust.
Seriously does anyone give a shit ??? Bob Bank/Popular Stand/SPAR family stand/Grange End/Canton Stand/Grandstand/Whatever Law stand.........its all to make money to improve our club.
Wait for the ground naming..........its going to be epic knowing us.

its a sponsor they will name it what they like they are paying Cardiff, If Swansea was sponsored by them they would have a stand called the "croeso" aswell. if B & Q sponsor us they would be a B & Q stand. Its just a name change for money, but there will be a stadium name change in the very near future.

I don't have a problem with it personally. Yeah it's a crap name, but we'll still call it the Canton and it's only sponsorship, it happens at all clubs. I don't remember anyone complaining when the Family Stand had Spar as it's sponsor at Ninian Park.

the canton stand faces the away end it says welcome aimed at the away end. Its a good market strategy welcome to our visitors.

it could equally say 'f**k off back to england' but I doubt that would do much good for our tourist trade.

I can't see the issue here, like the badge it changes from time to time. I still call the family enclosure the grange end and i'll still call it the Canton. Manchester City fans call the Ethiad, Eastlands, Newcastle fans call their sports direct stadium, ST James's park.
