" Canton Stand Renamed - CROESO STAND "(Welcome Stand)

Barry is correct.

If it's renamed it's renamed. The CCS is not our spiritual home and the Swansea fans don't call the North Stand, 'The Croeso Stand' they still call it the North Stand. Only annoying this is seeing 'Croeso Stand' on tickets etc, when really you know its the Canton Stand.

We will soon see if it says the Canton on the back of the stadium then

Went down the stadium earlier and 'Eisteddle Canton Stand' had been taken down, replaced with a big, wide rectangular frame. Looks like a big red sign with Visit Wales - Eisteddle Croese will be going in there, or something along those lines.

As a fluent welsh speaker i can honestly say that "Eisteddle Croeso" does indeed translate directly to the "Croeso Stand" (or "welcome stand" for you Saes speakers!)

I imagine that the stand name will quickly be dropped IF we have a very bad season!!! (wink wink)

Dont try to patronise me you creep....I've been to plenty of games, and as a ST holder I'm fully aware of our 2 welsh flags....however, with the new branding on the stands (or at least 1 of them!) then they will have been taken down. Think before commenting.
