I dont know why anybody takes what Carl says for gospel. It was only about 2 weeks ago he said 2 players were on the brink of signing and would sign within the week - which also never materialized.

The updates are there in my opinion to just boost the numbers on the board as generally nothing materializes from what was said.

i know if there is news put it out ,like you say why put out good news next week etc ...only to get the hits and views like you say

To be fair it was "stay tuned to this forum" - made a rod for his own back. its bin said on another thread the board wants hits and the updates bring hits in so wen the updates end up wrong people are going to say so. he gets plenty of 'nice one carls' to so its swings and roundabout

Carl is only saying what he believes or have been told. If hes wrong hes wrong.

The papers are wrong every day nobody slags them off.

Im as frustrated as anyone else but ffs let it drop. Read carls updates like you read speculation in the paper. If it happens then well done to him. If it doesnt the who cares

no he isnt though. He didnt come on and say, " the rumour is we have had a bid accepted for Wanyama"

he came on and stated it like it was fact, and given the history on this board, people are inclined to believe him, and it that information turns out incorrect, people are right to feel aggrieved imo.
