Who's views were represented?

The 15 of whom were in attendance.

So they werent actually representing this messageboard then, otherwise all members would have been gauged for their views so a majority view could have been put forward.

But Carl, When TLG aka Dave Sugarman asked Gwyn who he Represented he said himself with a big smile, what he meant was he Represented the Red and Wayne Nash.

So as Craig said then, not representing this messageboard - which is what you claimed.

It was announced that there were representation of the Trust, Supporters club, message boards and Gwyn for himself.

Re: Fan's representation - The board going forward

I wasn't a member of this forum at the time, so how were the opinions of this messageboard gained? Was there a poll or a vote?

If there wasn't any sort of "official" opinion gathering of the members on here, then it didnt represent this message board, just the person who was attending.

Which is why I don't think this idea would work. If this forum was going to be recognised by the club as a source of fan's opinions, the members here would have to have their opinions collected, surely?

But how could anybody represent this forum, when forum members wasn't asked who they would want to represent them nether lone what points to discuss

Good to see this forum getting representation. Every month there should be a thread where we can voice our opinions about the running of the club where they can be brought forward to the supporters trust.

Exactly. All I see is individual fans representing themselves.

Lets be honest and clear it should read "The Club considered the 15 who were invited as fans"

Bridgend Bluebird, how can the views of a group of fans (this forum) be represented , if the views are not gathered by the forum?

For example, if there were to be a representative, then opinions would have to be gathered.. This could either be done democratically, like you said.. By votes.. Or it could be an official thread eg.

THREAD FOR FANS TO POST OPINIONS ON REBRAND (an example)

Where all members who want to have their view aired post. It's moderated so that posts are respectful & pleasant & is then printed out and presented to the club officials.

If a member went along and just spoke (without gathering information) they would be just speaking for themselves..

Eg. If I went to a meeting representing this forum, what I personally think & the majority on this forum think could be very different.. Giving my own view then would not be representing this message board.

Well, like I said in my first post, a thread should be made every month regarding the running of the club, so we as fans can have our say. Thus, the representitive, could air our views to the supporters trust whether he agrees with them or not.

You are not the sharpest knife in the drawer, are you!

Where exactly did I claim I (or the others who attended) were representing the message board ?

Now if you read the post correctly, which you seem incapable of doing so I guess I have to spell it out for you, club officials asked 15 people to attend a meeting whom club officials deemed as fans representatives.

Representatives of the supporters club, supporters trust, travel group, Cardiff city forum and CCMB.

I answered Craigccfc that those in attendance were representing the views of the 15 invitees, I did not claim the 15 were representing any other persons, did I?

And relating to Craig's post, he wrote "So they werent actually representing this messageboard then, otherwise all members would have been gauged for their views so a majority view could have been put forward."

I have a question for you Chuckles considering you are so keen to back Craig's opinion up, how could anybody from this message board or any other organisation have gauged the views of their members regarding the rebrand BEFORE going into a meeting to be told of the rebrand?

Maybe I should ask you Chuckles for your opinion on the 3rd alternative City kit for the 2034/35 season so I can pass on your comments before I possibly attend a meeting with club officials regarding something I have not seen and don't know anything about but what will it hurt at least if it is shit and you don't like it, at least I put forward your concerns.
