However I believe anyone who has bought Tans rebrand merchandise, red or blue, has supported his visions financially. Even I when I bought my blue and white retro scarf put money in Tans coffers. That is something I admit.
As for Bluebirds Unite, there IS NO ONE who would rather stay red but there are people who are realistic and whilst I respect the views of more optimistic posters I also have to go on based on what I see from Tan and to me that is a ruthless, profit oriented businessman who would shit on anyone tomorrow for his own gain.
Whilst I can thank Tan for his investment and delivering us PL football I can only still think somewhere down the line he will screw us over. I will admit I still have doubts about him and that's because of his character and actions. Im not someone who easily takes to a person, I'm a very skeptical person and do read a lot into what people do and Tan comes across as the type of person who I think will start rinsing the club once we've become an established Premier League team. He's a businessman and I see through all the bullshit and he does not care for the club one bit. It's an act, he's playing the game and he's winning.
Is that a good thing? Definitely not and I'd rather Tan out but there's not alternatives so I either say Tan out and accept admin or support his vision in false hope and pray for the best and hope my skepticism is wrong. I will admit he's another owner I do not trust which is sad.
As for Sian, she should be respected and commended for her efforts. Just because someone has a different view to you does not give you the right to abuse them
Joke around, discuss and share points and raise questions and query people but to abuse them is wrong.
I'm reluctantly accepting the rebrand because there are no real alternatives other than admin but I still want Bluebirds Unite to do well and I want our identity back. I can't see it happening but if it does ill be over the moon and Sian should be rewarded for starting it off.
I don't believe there is 1 reluctant red who trusts Tan really and if they do they are delusional. He's thinking about number one and not his customers.
What every business needs is customers and last night I thought about what I was taught in university about business and how customers are more important than money because without them you make no money.
The sickening thing is football is not like any other business where you can just stop trading. There is an emotional attachment that keeps fans hooked and its that emotional attachment that he's using to his favour.
The best thing Bluebird Unite could do is just hold a DO NOT SHOW UP event and urge fans not to attend. When Tan sees no customers that'll speak volumes more than customers in blue. He'll see that people Won't just cater to his demands.
Empty seats is what's needed for Tan to take notice. A stadium full blue or red is still support and Tan thinks he's loved still.
TLG had it right from day one. It's a sad time when to have to put blind faith in an owner you don't really trust living on edge suspecting one day he'll screw over the club you support.

You keep twisting things. You say I've bought "rebrand merchandise", but I've bought the BLUE away kit, that's hardly "rebrand merchandise" is it. Tan only cares about red and he confirmed this at the end of season awards night when he told the fans that he'd rather fans were wearing red at home. You'll probably mention the new badge, but did we "rebrand" when Sam changed our badge? Badges change at all clubs from time to time, I've told you this so many times now and you even said "fair enough" when I first explained my view to you but you keep piping up again and again.![]()
You're acting as if you're Tan yourself because you seem to know SO MUCH about his views, but these are all just assumptions. When I say that "Tan only cares about the red", atleast I backed my point. There's a difference between supporting the club and supporting the reband. There's no such thing as supporting the rebrand "financially", if you put money into the club you're supporting the club. The only way you can support the rebrand is by wearing the new red merchandise. It's as simple as that.
Also, you say that the best thing that Bluebirds Unite can do is to not show up, but that's actually the worst thing they can do. There will always be fans waiting to take their seats whilst we're in the Premier League. Like I said, Tan only cares about red and it will send a huge message if there's a sea of blue at home games. And besides all of that, no one wants to stop supporting Cardiff City. You can still support Cardiff City yet be against the rebrand. You need to accept that.
You do make some good points to be fair and I can understand both sides of the argument, but when fans start having a go others because they're making an effort to get blue back (no matter how bad/good the idea is), that's when I lose respect for them.

Jon, we all want to return to Blue at home. We all have different opinions. I am a reluctant Red. I have been watching Cardiff since the 70's. While I am a reluctant Red, I can not accept the Beer mat badge, for me that is far, far worse than playing in Red at home. I have bought every kit, year on year since the 70's but I will not and have not, bought one piece of clothing with the Beer mat badge on it, Red Blue or Pink its not for me with that Beer mat badge on it.
Cardiff City will have a record number of shirt sales this coming season, on the back of being a Premier League club. Hence MIMG is correct, if customers are buying the merchandise the only other way to make Tan turn his head is to not turn up on match days. I don't think MIMG is saying sell or give up your Season Ticket, he is saying imagine if Cardiff are playing Man Utd on sky and the stadium has 10,000 empty seats, because there are 10,000 fans outside until half time, that would get Tan thinking. Wearing Blue or letting off Blue balloons won't bother Tan one bit because you are in the stadium supporting the team.
