Kits the same, what a splendid way to test the water for next season no doubt we will have the old " We will look for new investors" trick if it goes the same way then the u-turn will come with the new kit next season. tbh what club asks fans to pick a colour of shorts ffs when nobody had a choice in anything to start with it was all set out to make belief imo and another sucker punch for the blinkered to believe :malky:

Tony Blue Williams wrote:In a perfect world every season ticket holder would get a vote, that's not disputed. But playing devil's advocate I assume that the club would argue that to do that via Email (the fastest and cheapest option) logistically that was not possible.

The reason for that has already been uncovered in that households with multiple season ticket holders might only have one registered Email address meaning that as many as 3 season ticket holders per household would-not get an individual vote.

I suppose the answer there is to have a mini-household pole and vote for the majority view.

I absolutely agree that is not a very satisfactory resolution but from the clubs point of view they are probably under time constraints and need an answer ASP so that the kit can go into full production.

The lesson from this (which should have been obvious from last season fiasco) is to put options to the supporters with plenty of time for them to individually vote. I would suggest that should be before the last home league game of the season with voting vouchers published in the programme or online.

Time constraints ???!? Who calls the tune here !!!??? Don't tell me ! The Tanipulator !

In my opinion it's a complete farce.

I have 4 Season tickets in my family. I only got one vote, I sent them an email asking for the Blue Shorts.

But if you wanted it to be a fair vote it was never going to be.

My Wife who the club have her email never received an email, neither did I receive the votes for my children.

I have since found out that even though we have 20,000 plus season ticket holders/Prenier seats etc no more than about 12,000 will be able to vote.

Please do not tell me that behind the scenes this club is going forward, because I 100% Believe it is not.

Of course the club is moving forward its come on leaps and bounds, its just dkne something that you don't like. Let's not be silly now

I had one . Didn't vote however as don't agree with any of it . The club had two emails back ridiculing the pathetic state of its marketing team and that completely irrelevant new moto they are trying to flog . One Cardiff shit . I honestly believe the club are doing it intentionally . Much happier to have new happy clappy plastics in the seats than people who have been going for years for whom football is a bit more than a trip to the cinema

Someone told me not long ago that it was due to how long it would take to count them all and they needed to make the change ASAP.

You all moaned when we turned red the club didnt give us a vote etc like on the badge, now they are attempting to do things a bit different and showing signs of learning from the original mistakes and we still moan. I mean the club has time restraints to get the kit decision made so email is the quickest way and since not everyone uses or has access to email and other reasons this is the best at this current time.

i mean f**k me what happens when we start losing games next year, i dread to think

Talk about brainwashed. The club only gave us the vote as a damage limitation excercise. If they wanted to consult the fans then it should have been at the start of the process and not once they had cocked it up. Had they consulted at the start then this face would have been avoided. Anyway it was not really much of a choice was it as and there was no excuse for not contacting everyone as they have everyones address and seem to be able to write to every individual when its time to renew their season ticket. Thats all the club had to do is write to everyone and inform them to cast their vote on an online poll its not exactly rocket science is it.

Honestly Annis , I think your posts are getting a little desperate m8.

In all fairness Annis and no offence but i think you need to accept the fact the days when you could be regarded as an influential voice on the terraces in some aspect or another are gone forever.

Gone are the days when playing in front of a few thousand in the old 4th division as Cardiff City are now a big club with lofty ambitions and where once when certain fans held sway over club issues it is inevitable that this no longer applies.

Personally i believe the ultimate power of the club is were it belongs and that is with the owners the very same people that have saved us from administration and propelled us to the Premiership at a cost of tens of millions.

The fact is the club is gearing up for the future generations of supporters and i believe regardless of the Red concerns at present this will pale into insignificance as the younger followers within the next few years embrace what the owners deign as necessary the best way forward for Cardiff City f c .

The well being of our club is not with the KCB or the other older fans who are of a minority and have an axe to grind,it is with the young fans being introduced to the club these days.

For the record i am not a fan of next seasons kit but i have more important concerns in my life like mine and my family's wealth fare wealth fare,my work, friends and a shed load of other things so i am convinced i will be able to live with the colour of a football jersey whilst i watching my team playing the likes of Man Utd,Man City,Liverpool,Chelsea, etc from the Canton stand so regardless as to how many votes i thought i was or should be entitled i am just happy my Club is in safe hands and in the knowledge we will be playing Premiership football for the first time in over half a century .

I agree with the above reply to your thread remember their are far more important things in life and it is easy to forget that if you immerse yourself too much into what some people may see as over the top behaviour although i could think of some stronger terms .
