Yes, that's a number of games isn't it?

What with the reduction of home seats from the increased away end, there's not much room for any new fans, if any.

Then stop telling others what to do on here also :thumbright:

3 games out of 23 I think were probably sold out, unless someone can remind me of any others?

I think you are massively overplaying that card. I reckon there will be room for at least 1000-2000 new CCFC supporters next season (around that much unsold most games minus the away end adjustment) and as I pointed out, there are 3,000 general tickets on sale.

I am sure if we added more seats we would easily fill them with more new fans but it is what it is :ayatollah:

I say it ONCE more for you.

This thread was about NEW fans next season. How can people who attended last season be new next season? you really are living up to your nickname, "Daft".

How do you expect a 4k+ new fans (which is what this thread was about  ) to fit into a home crowd that was already sold out a number of times last year and will be reduced due to an extended away end?

:happy1:

I didnt imply that the fans that attended this season will be new next season. You implied that I did. You really are having a bad day here.

I am saying that there were on average over 4000 empty seats this season. Plenty of room for new fans.

Your argument is that because we sold out for 2 maybe 3 games then:

Barry Chuckle wrote:There's no room for the plastics. Simple.

If our average attendance is only 22998. yet our stadium holds roughly 26828 then there is in fact plenty of room for plastics.

So if there is plenty of room for plastics...........Your wrong!

Around three times? The usual Boxing Day sell out plus the promotion winning game and trophy presentation game? With lots of 'plastic' fans who will become regulars next season buying tickets?

Come on ;)

So, again, you have failed to demonstrate HOW we are going to fit in new "plastic" fans when this season we have sold out many times in the home end & the home capacity is actually going to be reduced.

THIS TOPIC IS ABOUT NEW FANS NEXT SEASON.

How can there be room for 4,000 new fans, when we sold out last season?

Even when you go by attendances, your figure of 4k is absolute bollocks, because you are including the away end, which is very silly.

Claiming that there's room for 4k of NEW fans for next season is very silly, especially as we sold out the last few games.

Tell me how you are going to fit new fans into a capacity that was already sold out at the end of last season.

I didnt claim that there is room for 4K new fans. Thats how many roughly on average didnt attend this season. If you got that impression from what I posted then maybe i wasnt clear enough. My bad!

I'm not. Again, demonstrate how you are going to fit in any NEW fans (which is what this topic was about  ) when last season we were already sold out towards the end and intact our capacity for the home end is being reduced because of the away allocation rules.

Already sold out last season, so any NEW fans will find no room available.

Re: PLASTICS

its Quite Clear you will always have the better overall support, bigger catchment area, no contest.

I think "The Plastic Fan" is one that all clubs have, whats that song? "sing when your winning". You will have those fans who swear that they have been there through thick and thin but couldn't reconise the names on the squad sheet. They however will disappear as quickly if the club has a downturn in fortunes, thats football.

The best think to do is roll with it ,enjoy it , you are already getting excited for the Premier league to face some of the biggest and best teams in Football, Man Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal, Man City, Spurs and your favorite team Swansea City FC. It will lead to "Plastics" thats a fact.

Of course, my point being is that currently there won't be much/any room for them.

Stadium expansion will show we will have many new fans then, next season though will be tough for any plastics to get tickets.

If they have money they will get tickets. Wigan had 24,000 at Wembley a sell out for the FA cup final but had returned over 10,000 for the Semi final PLASTICS

You will have them as a certain % have to be made available for matchday tickets. True supporters will reconise Plastics straight off.

We averaged 22998. Our capacity is 26828 as per Wikipedia (not including the extra seats we are putting in). Take the away fans from that and it still leaves on average a lot of empty seats.

We sold out for a few or a couple of games (It doesnt matter which as a number of those fans are not regulars & only come out for the big games.)

As it stands now, the number of season tickets sold for next season is not the number of fans we can accomodate in total at the CCS, far from it. Season tickets sold plus number of away fans and theres still tickets available for any plastic who's never been before. It doesnt matter how many as it only needs to be 1 to prove that your wrong.

So the plastics can get tickets next season, so there is room for plastics. So that contradicts what you have stated above! So your wrong!

Ill ask you once more.

How do you work out that we will fit in NEW fans when current existing fans from this season sold out a number of times already?

You mention the RUMOURED expansion, but at the moment it's nothing official.

I agree, IF the expansion goes ahead, there will be lots of room... That's IF it does.

What extra seats? Only rumoured at the minute.

No, but that wasn't the question. The OP stated how many NEW fans, not how many tickets were available.

There won't be many new fans as the home end was already sold out towards the end of last season.

I can see you're struggling to grasp it, so we shall leave it there for today. When you need another maths lesson, just send me a PM.
