Re: Sad to read this from a fellow City fan

What I see is very sad is the OP having a go at a fellow City fan because he does not have the love for the red and black and a badge that is not in anyway connected to Cardiff City. I have the utmost respect for Simon and his views and he is one City fan I would like to see back. A fan who is not afraid to say what he feels.I have said before the best way to show your contempt at the rape of our identity is not by disappearing which is whished by the red lovers but to be a voice in the stadium.

Yes, there are some wallies on twitter. Don't hit us all with the same bat, however.

I could point out pro-reds that have felt it necessary to intimidate/threaten others to get their point across too...

You didn't answer this the last time, can you do it now, come on Chucks don't keep it to yourself

Given our history in the years before before June 2012, it is a extremely reasonable assumption.

He doesn't want any to invest now, as he is in sole control. He was going to IF we didn't agree to rebrand.

If he didnt want any investment, he wouldnt float the club. owning shares in the club no matter how small is investment.

Didn't realise he had already floated it..

Easy to say that now there's rumours of a flotation.

Well even BBC are reporting that hes looking to float. And yes it easy to say now, as its happening, so what you have said looks to be in the process of being wrong, or has VT had a change of heart since you posted your comments and just thought about floating th club?

So? The BBC isn't an oracle!

It's happening? Not until it's confirmed by the club, it isn't.

I don't know, my point was that VT was only looking for extra investors AT THE TIME should the red shirt crap not gone through.

Events that are well documented on here and CCMB. If you're that interested, search yourself. At least it will stop you writing posts that make you look silly. :laughing5:

I could. Plenty of events have happened since the rebrand. as I have said, they've all been covered on here.

Threats at the KCB meeting, events in Scotland, people being mocked and intimidated on here and CCMB, just for having the audacity to want to see their team play in their rightful colours?

Yes, anti-rebrand who abuse people who wear red is wrong - but don't try to make out that those "pro-rebrand" have been total angels.

The whole point of the red is to attract major investment and support from the Asian area.

Do you actually believe that?!

It's quite obvious that this rebrand was because of one man's favourite colour & his love of make believe dragons.

It's quite obvious that you appear to be an "argue-for-the-sake-of-it" attention seeking person.

It's called debate & counter debate, a relatively simple practice.

I even acknowledged this with my comment that BOTH sides are guilty of certain things.

Re: Sad to read this from a fellow City fan

A football club is about belonging its about the pride in the shirt and what it stands for and VT threw it all in the bin.

The fact that this lady is doing something about it in a peaceful way is brilliant the fact that most people accept the rebrand is so disappointing.

She has my full support on this .

We go to the adc at trefforest with Cardiff City and last year or so they put a blue sign up with Cardiff City with the true City badge and its been there until tonight. It was the only thing with the old badge and colour on it and I loved it to look at it I just fill with pride and passion,

They have now binned it with a red sign and the beer mat badge and I feel nothing just about sums it all up well I do feel something and that is rage and anger and why not its the identity of my club and its gone what else am I supposed to feel its right to be pissed off.

I hope the Cardiff unite build something to protest against VT they have my full support as long as its done in the right way . :ayatollah:
