Or listen to TalkSport or watch Sky Sports News, it's being reported too far and wide for there to be nothing there

I think it would be a bad move for him because I don't think he would be given the money to bring in the players he would want but then again he might be able to work with the players they currently have.
If he went for the job I'd wish him all the best. If he stayed, great. If he went, we move on. That's football. I'm just grateful for what he's done for us. Not just how we've performed but the integrity and ethics he's introduced to the club.

Minus fellaini and baines they wont be as strong.
I have faith he will stay, i know its a big pull but i just see malky as the "ive started it so i'll finish it" type guy....but who knows. Would be a kick in the bollocks hes a class man and a class manager i for one hopebhe stays but would understand if he decided to go

I would not blame malky speaking to Everton and seeing what's on offer and weighing it up
Fri May 10, 2013 3:29 pm
ive been waiting for my cloud9 to burst and it just has
malky will go to everton or celtic and i dont blame him,he is superb quality
ill be devastated..
with malky i had serious hope of getting above 17 next season but i dont think many others could deliver that
and if we get mark hughes omg ffs

What if Vinny refuses to let him go? Does he have a release clause in his contract?
Whatever happens I hope it does not drag on for too long.

Half the country knew two years ago that David Moyes would be the next United manager. These things are discussed behind closed doors all the time
IF Malky went so quickly I would be VERY suspicious as to the 'training' meeting he and Moyse had a few weeks ago but my first thought is why on Earth would he go to a club with no finances when VT so clearly has a 'plan' to advance our club
I think VT would be majorly disappointed given Malky's stated 'loyalty and ambition' for Cardiff

We know that Malky has been approached by Everton but how would you feel if Malky took an interview but didn't get the job?
I would like to see Malky come out and turn down the opportunity and send out a mesage to us City fans that he is committed to the cause.
If he decides to leave for Everton then I would not hold it against him but if he takes the interview then I think we need to act accordingly.
If it comes out later today that Malky is in talks with Everton then it doesn't automatically mean he has had an interview, it could easily be the man meeting Everton to turn them down politely.
Neil Lennon is as strongly linked to the Everton job as Malky and Everton wish to interview both managers.
I'd be very disappointed with Malky if he was interested in the job.
He has brought players in and staff .......he obviously sold the club to them and what he hopes to achieve etc.
If Laudrup has openly stated he is not interested then Malky should do the same.
If it was a massive opportunity for him I'd say fair enough but Everton in their present situation are not.

Alan Cork back to the City! Bring back the days when we were 2-0 down and take of all our strikers,

Word in Everton is that Malky is signing as manager this weekend
Fri May 10, 2013 6:05 pm
Will make his appearence on Match of the Day very interesting tommorow.

Surely Everton would be better off going for someone with premier league experience Martinez perhaps. I wouldn't go for Malky if I was Everton or Celtic chairman
Fri May 10, 2013 7:48 pm
If Malky is reading speculation of him going to Everton I expect him to act fast and turn it down if he's fully comitted to CCFC He played down Norwich talks I'm sure he would turn down Everton. It seems that he's settled in Cardiff and will be a PL manager next season.

But most of the time they don't, hence why they are favourites.

Haven't we been through this already?
Okay, outside the top 8 who challenge for the European spots there are 12 clubs who's priority is to stay up, it's a league in a league if you will.
So that's 11 games home and away and you take up 9% of those games. I'm taking a very keen interest

If it was a top 5 club, he would definitely go. If it was one of the bottom 13 clubs in the PL, he definitely wouldn't go. Everton (and Liverpool for that matter) falls outside of those parameters and are in betweeners.
You can't blame him for thinking about it, but ultimately it is probably a year or two too soon for such a move. Especially as Moyes is likely to take one or 2 of his better players with him not leaving much at Everton.
Much as he loves Celtic, even Malky can see that Scottish football is dying and he is not going to give up a chance to manage in the Premier League for that.
I THINK he'll stay, but I could understand it if he went.
