Oh BTW we HAVE planning permission for a 58,000 seat stadium. Doesn't mean we got one and considering how long it took to build the Liberty in the first place, by the time those extra seats are in you will be playing Portsmouth on a regular basis. ;)

Yes, I better watch out for financial meltdown because we're able to sell our home crowd. I think you should be a lot more worried about that considering that you've got in excess of £100 million debt, but I'm sure Portsmouth would far prefer to be playing in League 2 then playing in the Premier League without their badge and colours.

Again you miss the point, selling out a 20000 stadium doesn't mean you are financially secure. We might be a £100m in total debt (although that figure is not the 'net' debt which is around £48m) we have a Billionaire who will eventually wipe every penny out, that's why we rebranded.

Of course you have the same mind set as Portsmouth as they took the administration route and avoided paying creditors i.e. cheated people out of money. That's exactly what your club (Swansea City 2002) did and then spunged off the council tax payer to get the Liberty built.

The rebrand was the painful but honourable way to go. Yes we lost our shirt colour and badge (not for the first time I may add) but in exchange we will honour our debts and cheat no-one out of anything.

That's the moral high ground.

No, selling the stadium out doesn't mean we are financially secure, but we are financially secure due to the way the club is being run and with us posting a £15 million profit for last season and a £20 million profit for the first half of this season. We have no debt to anyone and are simply spending money that comes in to the club, if we go down then the players wages will be reduced so that they are at 60% of income and whilst we are run by our current owners there is no risk whatsoever of being ruined financially. The actions of previous owners do not affect how the club is currently ran. We generate a large amount of revenue for the council and we'll have provided a lot more money to the city and to them then it cost for the ground to be built.

The rebrand was in no way an honourable way to go, any club with any sort of honour would have stood up against a rebrand and would have realised that the club itself it a lot more important than being in the Premier League and would have prefered to keep the club in the lower divisions.

Vincent Tan is also wants Hammam to write off the debts, despite putting the money aside that Hammam wants as part of the rebrand.

Vincent Tan is not a billionaire, any you are very naive if you think he's going to write off all of his debt. Roughly 1/7th of his wealth is your debt to him, and if he was planning on writing it off then I don't think he'd be charging you 7% interest on this debt. Your net debt is low (a measly £48 million) because you've listed your stadium at a very high value, which nobody would pay for the ground.

Thats quite amusing the fact you mention our rebrand isnt honourable. Not like screwing local businesses by going into Admin, twice! :thumbright:

At least we are paying all our debts off, not just 10p in the pound.

I'm not the one who brought up honour, but the rebrand certainly isn't honourable.

Your debts are increasing by the day.

Our debts are increasing to one man only. Who as of now, in the past 4 years hasnt asked for it back.

As for charging 7% interest, when he comes to swapping his debt to equity it means he has more debt he can swap. :thumbright:

As Tony pointed out, the rebrand is painful but more honourable than admin. ;)

That's all they have. They're only bragging right is over and it makes them even more bitter and Obsessed. Heh. The weather is hot and Cardiff City's summer has only just started. Meanwhile, the jerks get back to their backwater, backwards benefit-dependant disease-ridden reality.

"2 half decent seasons in the Premier League" see they were far from half decent seasons, finishing 11th in our first season and a possible top half finish and trophy in our second season. I take it that you think you'll be able to eclipse that, and if so, you've got a bit of a shock coming to you in August.

We have a far stronger squad than you and Hull, and whilst we will spend wisely and will improve, there's no danger of us going down because of the team that we have, and the poor quality of the teams coming up whilst there are 7/8 teams that have finished below us this season that are in more danger of relegation next season.

No danger of going down? Your form in 2013 is one of the worse in the division. Only you got off to a flying start youve bought yourself a cushion.

Youre only 3 points in front of Villa ffs and theyve had a nightmare of a season.

I bet newcastle thought there was no danger of going down this season after finishing 6th last year. But you carry on with the arrogance, hopefully it will be to your detriment.

You are struggling at the moment and for some reason can't seem to win, maybe the players are already on the beach, if that's the case then it shows that the team are vulnerable. Next season, with the extra games provided by the Europa League, it could be your undoing, if I was you I would be concerned if not worried about that.
It will be first season syndrome for us, we will be an unknown quantity and every game will be treated like a cup final, for this reason I believe that we will finish with a fairly comfortable 44-46 points. :ayatollah:

We're mathematically safe with three games to play, and despite dropping points due to a lack of goalscorers/striking ability which we will address in the summer, we've got what we wanted. We're set for a top half finish and a cup win, regardless of how many points we've finished on and regardless of how points separate us with 18th there are 8 teams between us and the relegation zone.

In terms of the quality we've got in our side, we are nowhere near being one of the worst three sides in the division and will improve in the summer.

Newcastle failed to address a lack of depth in the summer, we will not and have a lot more depth than them at the moment as it is, we are an entirely different club than Newcastle and aren't a team that rely on individuals, we're a very good team and have done the double on them this season.

No, I haven't in any way called us Europeans giants or implied that we are European giants.

All I've stated is that I'm confident that in the league we'll do what we've done in our first two seasons next season, which I think is a realistic expectation based on the teams performances in the Premier League.

Whilst you will bring up Europe as something that could take us down, I'll remind you that only one Premier League team have been relegated having qualified for Europe (Ipswich Town) and that we will appropriately prepare for the summer by continuing our successful recruitment policy.

In your last 8 games, you have only scored 4 goals! and only beat relegation threatened Newcastle, I don't think you have the strength in depth that you believe you have. Michu, has been the difference, which is fine, as that's what he's there for, to score goals, However, had he not turned out to be sensational, then there would be a very different look to your position in the table.
