I won't read it, because I won't be told something.

I also know he's right - VT doesn't know much. I've said that myself already. :laughing5:

Not "nothing" in my view. Unless you regard the rebrand as "nothing"?

Opinions is fine, when it gets personal, that's wrong.

Attack the post, not the poster.

If anyone starts getting abusive, it jut shows they haven't got the capability to debate maturely.

Erm, no. Just won't be told to read something. Hardly being "owned". If anything, I've stuck to my opinions regarding rebrand all along.

If owning people is abusing them for their stance & being unable to debate properly without resorting to abuse, then you must live in a rather bizarre world.

Do you go to the games or watch Cardiff when they're on tv? Are they still your team? They are called Cardiff City they play there home games in the city of Cardiff. They are Cardiff City. Your stance has no foundation unless you actively do something about it. Either act on your opinions or take your stance elsewhere.

'It is suggested that the colour subconsciously boosts players' confidence and unnerves their opponents.'

'The colour red is usually associated with dominance and importance. Evolutionary anthropologist Russell Hill at the University of Durham, explored whether athletes wearing red might outperform others. Hill analysed the results from Olympic boxers and wrestlers who had been randomly assigned red or blue outfits, and again the results were remarkable. Across both sports there was a clear trend – winners wear red.'

Red is associated with passion, anger and sacrifice, all things we've shown this season. Red is the sign of bad - stop signs, RED CARDS in football, etc. Red is a formal colour, shown to mean business and is still used by many militaries and even Britain ourselves had red coats and so forth.

I read somewhere before that Shankly at Liverpool made them wear an all red kit due to psychological reasons and it made them appear bigger and fill the pitch more. Obviously, its psychological and it sounds ridiculous to you and I looking at it as fans from the outside but lets be real here, red is a colour, just like yellow used by animals to strike fear, it has a danger, a swarming factor and it would be foolish to suggest these dont effect some humans who are mammals themselves after all. Yes we are civilised and domesticated but to say we dont succumb to some of the same natural inhibitions as other mammals would be ridiculous.

So maybe VT was right and I was initially wrong and hes not as stupid as many think aye but no doubt the PhD Scientists of AAMB will be out in full force to debunk the claims of those vastly more educated in such fields than themselves.

People are approaching this with red === success therefore every other colour must fail against red which is completely false. To understand the concept you must understand probable chance which im sure most betting people do or should do :?

Anyway, the studies claim red gives a team/athlete an edge over blue therefore in a large case study there are going to be more red winners. If red has a 51% chance and a boxer in blue has a 49% chance then obviously blue still has a chance of winning. Its not impossible for the team in blue to win, its just less likely. The margin of the 'edge' wearing red over a team is all determined by various psychological factors, one of which being how certain people respond to it themselves as individuals as everyone is different.

Now, if red gives us even the slightest bit of an edge over a team then fair enough. Of course there are other factors, of course teams in other colours have a probable chance and anyone who claims different is an idiot but its all about margins and in sports athletes or teams always want to gain an upper hand before the match/bout/event even takes place. Why do you think managers always try mind games in the media? Why do you think Mayweather always tries to get inside his opponents head before a bout? its all psychological and gaining the upper hand. Most of the fights Mayweather goes into he already has them mentally beat from his mind games and they go into the fight seeing red because hes got under their skin so much.

Any edge is a bonus and whilst it would be lovely to play in blue as its our traditional colour I can still see and understand why VT made the changes he did. The problem for VT is he is not expressing himself in the right way because he can barely speak good English giving all the idiots a platform to abuse him. He is not as stupid as he comes across.

Now that still doesn't justify the crappy beer mat badge we have.

Clearly did not read it or are very ignorant Nukes. Read it and you'll see the error you have made. and again, I quote;

Wearing red does not give red a 100% chance of winning and the other colour, say blue, a 0% chance of winning. It is entirely still possible that the colour other than red can win because its all down to probability and chance. If we have a 55% chance and the other team has a 45% chance they can still win easily enough just the odds are against them by a 10% margin. Its that margin that teams/athletes want to increase before even stepping onto the field of play or into the ring. Mental games and psychology are as important as the event in sport.

Also, Wales aren't world champions, Spain are European and World Champions and they play in red. Wearing red does not make a team unbeatable and no one claims it does. People are claiming it gives an edge, an increased chance of winning and there is scientific evidence of that fact from numerous sources.
