It its comparing chalk and chees as far as individual players are concerned, although granted you have about the same standard of players that we did, however tactics, playing style and adapting your play against the opposition is crucial, as well as signing players that compliment your current squad, changing too much too soon is fatal, but ramaining stagnant is also not an option. We have had two seasons of building and although we have seen a lot of new players, they all fit our style, which has adapted over the two seasons with the new manager, apart from Schecter. I hope you do go on a splurge and buy half of QPR's team and a couple of has beens though.

it depends on the style of football you want to play, we play a different style than the majority and it works , if you play the same way in the premier league than your going to need better players to do it, if you want to change your going to need a lot more better players to do it , just because you win the league does'nt mean your team is good enough for the premier league, yes we finished third when we went up but we brought a different style of football which suits.

As sad it is sounds one of the best nights of my life and I nearly cried! Near the end I was literally biting my nails and a city fan near me had to calm me down.

We added better players to the team as we grew, players who could fit into our system, and players with a point to prove.
Add to that we had managers who had past links with big name clubs.
As for the champ yes u can only beat whats iin front of you, however not a single team as pushed you since November, and when any did come close they fell away and lost there next few games..
Only a few weeks back many were saying malaky had to go and didnt have a clue, your football was shit and how the f**k were you top?.
Unless you buy some real quality and good prem players you are going to struggle.
Allan tait is a good example along with sinclair, tait was solid and hardly missed a game in the champ , not the most skill full granted but give 100% but could not get a sniff in the prem.
Same goes for sinclair, outstanding in the champ and tore teams apart but struggled big time.
