Depends what you call best interests. Mine are the identity of the club and we have lost that since the start of this season. In fact I cannot ever see us returning to what everyone associates us with.

But we haven't lost our identity. We are still Cardiff City FC and have simply 'evolved' in order to progess. That's nature ;)

As for "what people associate us with" I think even you will agree that there are many 'associated' things the club (and most supporters) will be only too glad to leave behind :ayatollah:

Sorry just don't agree with your evolved theory.

That's fine. We all have an opinion :ayatollah:

Mine is simply that in order to survive in the modern football world means having to 'keep up' with current trends and that, like it or not, means having to have a big financial backer on board ;)

In most ways (and certainly looking back over two or three short years) we have been lucky to have him here :ayatollah:

You NOT there next season then, JonCCFC? ;)

I'd respect you for taking that decision if you feel so (100%) strongly :ayatollah:

Why wouldn't I be there? We were asked what we'd prefer and I'd prefer to play in blue. Simple. :ayatollah:

Actually, it asked (quote) "if we would sacrifice everything?" and you stated 100%, hence my question ;)

Yes, I would sacrifice everything we've gained since the rebrand to go back to blue. :ayatollah:

I find that amazing, JonCCFC :(

It is, of course, your opinion but I sincerely question your attendance if you feel that strongly, as I cannot see any purpose in doing so

From my own perspective, I have to say that I have followed Cardiff City FC through thick and (mainly) thin always with the ambition that they should reach the top tier. We used to laugh about it and we all (the few of us who were there) say "Hmmm, never in my lifetime" but we were (or so it seems) wrong. Cardiff City FC are on their way to the land of so many dreams over so many years and I will be there to see it :ayatollah:

Ironically, there is a part of me that is going to be sad the 'chase' is over but more of me that will be proud to be part of such a historic journey. Just about the only time I will ever have any empathy with the Jacks (who already know how it feels) :ayatollah:

I, like 99% of others, would have preferred to remain blue but (being honest) I've gotten used to the red now and it hasn't changed my love for the club I have supported for many many years simply because I am intelligent enough to understand (a) how close this club was to going out of business, (b) why Vincent Tan wanted the 'change' for (his own) business reasons, and (c) that without Vincent Tan we wouldn't have a club with any ambition other than to survive from day to day, probably in the lower divisions at best ;)

Only TWO things count at this historic moment in the history of Cardiff City FC; MALKY and his TEAM! :ayatollah: :notworthy:

Hit the nail on the head - Spot on :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

I love Cardiff City more than I hate the rebrand.

Everyone's had the Premier League dream, but I believe it's not worth becoming a joke of a club (which we are) and selling our identity to get there for what could only be one season. But I'm not going to let it stop me from supporting the club I love, it would be taking a huge part of my life away.

I hate the rebrand with a passion, but seeing the majority of our fans wearing blue and singing blue-related songs is what keeps me going. :ayatollah:

On field investment could have come without the off field changes so the question is a pointless one

From where? and why would they not have come forward when we were likely to be wound up?

From the Malaysians gwyn . No good business rational behind off field changes . Asian market bollocks . Cardiff and valleys catchment is f*cking huge never mind Asia . Good reason why much bigger clubs that hours have never gone for the Malaysian market . Mike Ashley is a shrewd business man , don't see the Geordies playing in red . Much bigger club / potential

That's because you're thinking in a small minded way - with VT in charge of us, we can be much bigger than Newcastle.

Delluded in my opinion mate . Football up there is like rugby on a 6 nations day .
