Blue balloons would be a distraction yet red and blue are fine?! What planet are you on?! :laughing6:

You should know that fan protests (which it might be seen as) do unsettle players.

Rubbish. You claim that red and blue would be fine and blue would affect players. What utter nonsense.

Red & blue would be supporting Cardiff as they are our actual colours at this time. Just blue would clearly be seen as a protest against Tan and your comments in this thread prove that is indeed the case.

Again, you are trying to say that the colour of a balloon will make a player okay poorly or not?! What a load of cobblers you talk!

I give up.

Red and Blue are our Colours ? Bollocks !! When was the last time the team worn Blue ? Tan has banned it simple as and this is showing him that we have not abandoned blue and never will do.

Because no pro rebrand thread has ever been made a sticky Nukes (and there have been many of them over the last year).

This is not even-handed and not representative of the views of our fan base at all - in fact, not even representative of the views of posters on this mb, as I think this board is pretty much split 50/50 between pro-blue and pro-change posters.

If this persists for another season or two, I think this board could lose a lot of good posters, if the pro-change posters feel the same as me, and I've always loved this board, and that would be a real shame.

Go support Liverpool you crying little girl.

Will you feel a lot better once you have released your blue balloons? I'm sure Tan will immediately announce a return to blue shirts. Don't see the point at all. Wearing your blue shirt I do get, but not balloons. Wave your blue scarf all game, the 20,000 that waved their red ones can testify to its effect. Why don't you round up a few bluebirds and release them instead?

I will be bringing blue balloons. Not as a protest or a 'f**k you' to VT but because it will look cool as f**k on tv and will create a memorable atmosphere

If the cameras can be bothered to look at them, and then if the producer can be arsed to edit the great scene into its montage package at the end of the programme. Otherwise or you will see is a few balloons float up and away into the evening sky, and when your now aching neck muscles decide to lower your head into its more natural position of facing forwards, you will hear the now very vocal home support pissing themselves and continuing to remind you about your amazing scene for the rest of the game. Unless of course we score a goal and you remind them that Cardiff City are top of the league. Now that would surely be amazing?????

No evidence for it being banned. I understand a protesting show of love for blue, I really do. But not before our biggest game of the season.

Why don't you go with yellow if the the reason you're going is not to solely support the team????

The team are transient, fans are not. It's our idendity and culture being slapped around not the 'teams'

We are not suddenly going to start booing our players for gods sake........ You will only be able to hear one set of fans, the mighty bluebirds. Top of the league, always be blue, do the malky, in the swansea slums. Its just support.

If anything is going to put them off it will be that dodgy rendition of hymns and arias...

To some, the identity of the club is more important than promotion. :thumbright:

Yes I know, I can't work it out.

Probably the same one's who desert the club every time we lose.

Look at the youngsters who protested.......they don't even know what relegation feels like.

Personally I think it's a load of bollocks.

A lot of assumptions in there, many of which are wrong. :thumbright:

Well your honour i put to you that you cant remember what game we last wore Blue. Also the name Bluebird has not been mentioned once whilst in the presence of Mr Tan. But as for the defence can you show me one scrap of evidence that the colour blue is used at CCFC ? Apart from the 2mm little bluebird that is on our shirts and the seats that he desperately wants red. Hmmmm

To some, the survival of the club is more important than a colour.

We played in it away at Bristol City and I am sure we did away at Notts Forest, too. Both earlier in season.

Has it been mentioned at all? Maybe a bit awkward since we wear red but I hope they continue saying Bluebird soon.

Umm, the big writing on the front of the stadium that flashes red and blue for one?
