I mean over the years our main rivals have been Leeds, Stoke, M'wall, the bristols and of course the JBs.

Swansea will at some point revert to somewhere like a wigan - with a small time owner who only wants to take a bit of cash out of the club.

whereas we will be a club funded by a multi-millionaire.

we may be a play thing for him, but my guess is that we can be successful, like those clubs owned by foreign investors rathe r than those like wigan.

I would suggest the struggle of the Prem teams, if anything, shows the depth in quality of the Championship this year. The top four aren't that ridiculous, us and Hull have had major investment, Watford have a loan arrangement with a top side in Italy and Palace have some of the best youngsters in the Football League, one of which is on his way to Man Utd for £10m.

Look at the teams in the relegation fight, look at the points difference, it's a tight and tough league.

Only scared Swansea fans will have you believe otherwise.

Winning this league would be huge and a far bigger achievement than the Swans promotion in 2011 and that's why it grinds with them.

My advice is to enjoy the things you love and stay away from the things you hate, i.e. get on a Swansea board! Have I taught this board nothing?

Cardiff had the upper hand on this thread as soon as it was posted and it has now descended into so much nonsense it's swung very much back in Swansea's favour.

We will not be as big as man utd in Malaysia in 5 years, not in 50 years either or 500. We will probably be as big as QPR over there, in fact probably less as they have on of the most famous Asian footballers on their books... And QPR aren't very popular over there either may I add.

Waddle is correct. One of my pet hates is someone clearly making a point declaring a specific point in time and someone taking it to the future and applying it to a time frame in which the comment was not intended. Bakedalaskar fell foul of this when on a thread marked "as it stands" I posted how the table stood after Watford scored, yet because the other team equalised 15 minutes later my initial comment was deemed to be a mistake on my part. Needless to say I put him in his place and he deleted the thread

TBF mate it's only 3 of them out of the whole board that are to thick to see it , the fact they keep going is quite amusing though

I'm literally staggered each day by the stupidity of some people on this board, and they wonder why people keep returning

Carpe die, is my latest amusement, you won't believe the amount of unbelievably stupid stuff that guy comes out with, apparently Liverpool only changed to red in the 60's, arsenal are a better team without carzola and Chelsea are a better team without hazard - not to mention the championship being as strong as ever even though all the prem teams are in turmoil, none of the big names are firing, we haven't played well all year and are clear of 3rd by 8points and the top 4 consists of Cardiff, Watford, hull and crystal palace

i agree that some posters dont help themselves but you dont need to highlight it to waddle like some little dog that just fetched a ball.

that made me cringe, hence why i put CRINGE! and if you can show me where it states that any persons over a certain age are not allowed to use the word cringe that would be great, theres a good dog!

you keep dealing in hope and assumption and i'll stick with the facts , look at the SEVERAL threads on the matter , over a month after this topic was originally posted 85 pts will still not guarantee you promotion , so at the time it was a stupid comment , I didn't realise i bugged you so much that you went back over a month to bump a topic , but all you've done is make yourself look a bit of a lid
and you talk about a bet , I made the bet yesterday ....... I million pound that 85 pts wasn't mathematically enough for you to be promoted at that time or certainly not when the topic was started , christ almighty I thought nobby was thick

it might not "guarantee" promotion...but it WILL get us promotion, i think thats the point that was being made, f**k the mathematical shit as they will all drop points and make our final target smaller..

Waddle has taken this out of context, he never said it would mathematically guarantee, he was simply epousing an opinion that it would surely be enough, an opinion you contradicted. Things can go both ways but it looks as if the 85 point prediction is going to be bang on so have a little humility and accept it was a good prediction...

You remind me of myself Waddle, back in my school days I used to log on forums and cause havoc. I did it because it helped me get away from the teenage angst many teenagers suffer in school. My advice is to enjoy the things you love and stay away from the things you hate, i.e. get on a Swansea board! Foster some positivity in your life because things these days, and always with youngsters, always seem to be negative.
