I don't look at the colour of the seat I sit on! Some sad people on here

We're already a laughing stock for being called the bluebirds yet wear red. I would very much like the stadium to embrace the red if this was the case. If the supposed kit change to blue and red if true, them having mixed wouldn't be a bad stadium change. Let's be fair, they should add more colour outside anyway, it looks so bland.

I would've preferred red away seats, the rest being blue, which would make a lot of sense. Ah well, I'm embracing the change. We are still the same club, so that's what matters.

It's only a shirt
It's only a badge
It's only a seat

What's next?

What would it take for you to finally accept that all this is just wrong?

If you think that is the reason we are a laughing stock, you really don't understand what going on here.

Obviously the rebrand in general would be the reason why I'd stop going, but changing the colour of a shirt doesn't cost a thing and it shows the potential of going back to blue because it's as easy as that. Where as changing the colour of the seats would cost over £1m, which would show that the red is going to be long-term, not short term. The club wouldn't spend all that money if we had the potential to go back to blue as it would be a waste of money, unless they are actually that stupid.

Get it now? It's very simple.

I don't get it though. Why the hell would it be short term? This was clearly a long term plan by Tan, and let's be realistic here. Presume Tan stays for more than ten years here, that one million will be nothing. It's just something we have to get used to for many years. I have no doubt when Tan goes someone will come in and change us back, becoming club heroes or whatever.

Red seats, just like the change to red in the first place makes me feel sick. Bye, bye blue forever if this happens. Another 1.2 million pound added to loan debt to see this through no doubt.

Because Tan won't be here for 10 years.

sickens me the fact that tan is eventually going to change our seats to red, knowing full well he wont be here forever and as soon as the next owner takes control we''ll hopefully return to blue

WHEN the red shirts were embraced by most people and the free red scarfs and all those sales of replica red shirts what message does this send to TAN .

we have done it to ourselves end of .

Its a free red seat if you dont want it refuse to sit in it cause a load of shit but this will never happen will it.

if anybody thinks the blue is coming back then they are mad people say when Tan goes the blue will be back .

Tan is going nowhere red is going to get even more dominant FACT.

Re: WEDNESDAY MARCH 27th 2013 UPDATE

After spending £1.2m on red seats, they would never spend a further £1.2m (+inflation) to change them back in the future - EVEN if new owners took over, unless they want to piss thier money away!

Re: WEDNESDAY MARCH 27th 2013 UPDATE

Thu Mar 28, 2013 1:32 pm

I hate to be annoying but the update clearly says that the club have been 'quoted' £1.2m for the installation of new seats. It doesn't actually say the installation is going to happen or if it will so the toys should stay firmly in the pram for now.

Congratulations to Rudy, if there is one player I would love to make it big it is him, a terrific all round fella.

Great informative update :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

That is supposition we will never know until the time comes.

Personally judging this on a balance of probabilities level I cannot see why £1.2m (+ inflation) is prohibitive to changing the colour of seats back to blue in the future. The normal annual turnover of a Premier League team is around £60m (correct me if I am wrong) so £1.2m of that should be affordable specially if spread over a number of seasons.

Of course there are caveats we could be relegated at some point but also our turnover could be substantially higher than £60m if VT’s Far East plans come to fruition.

I'm not saying I agree with it, but my understanding is that's the whole idea of changing from blue to red.
