And personally cant see a problem with Williams playing for Wales. When he plays for the Jacks i hate the c**t. When he plays for Wales i will support him just like i have done for every player that pulls the red shirt on.Why cant some get over there hatred for the Jacks when Wales plays is pathetic really.
England fans join together at international games. Williams is a good captain for Wales. Why cant some just support Wales on match days ?

There's no way on earth one of the best center backs in the prem will go for £6m

It's widely understood that the bidding starts at £8m, but will probably take an offer of around £10m to prize him away. He's captain of his country, captain of a top 10 premier league club and in his prime.

Doubts he'd choose Liverpool over Swansea as the Swans have European football, the only club I could see him going to is Arsenal but Arsene doesn't tend to splash out often, so whether he would come up with the £10m is another question.

Safest bet is hell stay there.

Nonsense. If a big club want him and he wants to leave then he will go. Also, I doubt the lure of Liverpool and the wages and prospects they will offer will be outweighed by one season in the poxy Europa league.

Having said that the top clubs will want better.

If he goes we will replace him , we always do and it shows by the way you don't rate him you either never watch him play or you know nowt about football
do agree if a bigger club come in he will go though , he's not getting any younger

Where did I say I didn't rate him? Just said the top clubs will want better. He's virtually 29 so I think they would have come in for him by now. But yes I don't watch him as he plays for your shower, apart from Wales when he hasn't exactly been outstanding over the years IMO

Hes 29 at start of next season. 6-8m tops unless its Liverpool who have a history of paying 3 times over the odds

And if we say no? Like we did to Bodde, Rangel and Taylor, he stays or they up their offer. The luxury of not needing to sell helps no end in getting the right deal for the club.

Yeh, we got £15 million for Joe Allen who was no where near as important to us than Ash is. I know Joey's younger, but he was easily replaceable whilst Ashley Williams is not and there's a big difference in the two players ability.

I'd say he's worth about £8-10 million, but there's no reason for us to sell him at the value he's worth. We don't need to sell unless we know that enough moneys coming in so that it's the best thing for the club.

We got £15 million for Joe Allen, we got £6.2 million rising to £8 million for Scott Sinclair who didn't play well at all in the Premier League for us and £5 million for Danny Graham despite him falling out of favour for the club and because of our financial position we know that we don't need to sell players for near their true valuations.

It makes no sense for team to buy players for Swansea, although teams still do this. We get the very best out of the players we sign, we know they fit the system that we play and we can maximise the majority of the players we bring in ability. When they leave, they don't tend to do as well and there's so many examples of players who've left thinking the grass is greener only to know be well behind where our current players our, whilst there's only a rare few in the last 10 years who've gone on to succeed after leaving us. We are fantastic in the transfer window, there's no real denying this and we've done some great business in our rise through the divisions signing very good players for very cheap prices, we're the best at this in the Premier League and there's no real chance of teams beating the Swans in the transfer market. Why they try to do good business by signing our players is certainly questionable when we'll more than likely sign a better player for a cheaper fee, based on the last few years.

I don't think he'd go to Liverpool. Yes they're a bigger club, but would he trade being captain (more or less) of a top ten team, for being a possibly bit part player in a team that are only a couple of places above us in the Premier League whilst we'll be in Europe next season and they wont. I don't think they'll sign him to be honest, as there possibly does seem to be that they'll only spend money on younger players, something that Brendan Rodgers did with us and that the American Owners have also promoted for a while so spending for arguments sake £10-15 million on him wouldn't follow that line of thinking.

I think he'd want to go to Arsenal, but whether they'll come in for him or not is another thing. If he was to be offered the chance of regular Champions League football, you'd expect him to go. But I wouldn't expect Arsenal Wenger to be looking to spend something like £15 million on a 29 year old centre half, they seem to be fairly sensible with their business.

I don't see Ash wanting to leave as why would he want to leave now? I'd understand if we'd have lost the play-off final, but he's been with us a few years and every season has just got better and better. This season will be our best season ever, more than likely top ten finish and a major cup win. Next season he'll have the chance to play in Europe, will possibly be made the official club captain and will have the chance to play with an even stronger team.

I think it's best for Welsh football for him to stay with us, but then I would wouldn't I
