Because there is no alternative for Gurnsey.

Why on earth should FC bluebirds of tan haters join the English league? Why does it matter to any of you setting up the club where the club is based? The fact of the matter is many of you don't want to support the Welsh league.

-Not necesserily, Jersey FC take a different stance- i.e the UEFA route - its a shame as everyone in Jersey wants them to join the English Pyramid - however they seem to be content playing Isle of Man, Alderney and Gibraltar in tin pot tournaments. Sorry to be a little off topic but Guernsey are two games away from playing at Wembley in the FA Vase

Those born in the channel islands, like Graeme le Soux and Matt le Tissier can opt for any home nation they want. The only reason the exiled clubs from Wales who play in the English leagues play there is because at the time of formation there wasn't a league for them to play in. Nowadays there is.

It would set a dangerous precedent if this club was to be allowed to play in the English leagues, there would be chaos throughout Europe and it wouldn't be long before all the big teams from each country form a nice little league for themselves.

No, the reason the current welsh clubs are allowed in is when we joined it wasn't an English league. It was a northern and southern league and then by invite the southern league joined the northern league to make the league system we know today.

But either way they still won't get the money they need to launch it so its irrelevant. What are are they going to pay their players with? Cardiff pin badges? Where are they going to play where they will have the right to charge spectators? Nowhere, it will be a rented parks pitch. Who is going to pay for their kit? It's about £450 for a home and away kit with numbers and badges sewn on, then training kit and equipment, then rental of pitches for games then rental of space to train, then league fees then paying to get the required people trained for first aid, then getting an up to standard first aid kit - just the tip of the iceberg.

It won't ever happen.

Although on another note, maybe you can get Annis to change your username slightly, it's a bit too similar to mine.
