Also I am sure quite a few thousand tickets go out to Local Welsh rugby clubs like Pontypridd and that.

If you honestly believe 75,000 people buy tickets from WRU for the price they charge then you are most likely brain dead.

Yes, clubs and schools all get ticket allocations... Guess what, they still have to be paid for & certainly aren't "given away". :thumbright:

They don't pay the price they charge to people who go the ticket office. Our rugby club usually gets charged like £10.

Incorrect again, you have to pay face value. :thumbright:

Think you've got this wrong mate. Every club in the Welsh leagues apply for an allocation of tickets for each game and then sell to their members. Every time I have ever done this through my local club over the last 10 years I have paid face value for the ticket.

Sell to their members? They sell the tickets to anyone on the cheap.

it doesn't matter what price the tickets were! we would of sold out double the price and double the capacity

I think the closed roof helps play a part in the atmosphere and the fact we are playing England it was always going to be a good atmosphere. :malky:

Absolute rubbish, as a member of my local rugby club for well over 20 years, I can assure you that isn't how it works.

Some embarrassingly bitter and frankly confused responses here.

Fantastic performance, atmosphere and result.

What utter nonsense some of you have been spouting in this thread, the atmosphere was electric and I for one was proud. Some of you have some chips on your shoulders. I do not like rugby, I did not watch all of the matches, I used to go down the Arms park on a saturday occasionally but it's always been CCFC for me but I appreciate a good team when I see one. I do not care if Wales will win but I certainly don't wish for them to lose.

As for the fat pissheads comment by Annis, we have plenty of them down the CCS. Three times a year? We can't muster an atmosphere like that ever let alone three times a year. Put that amount of Cardiff fans in one place and we still wouldn't get close to that atmosphere, sadly a fact.

Always want my country of birth to beat the English at anything. :D
Saw the highlights on sunday as i was overnight in Sheffield and i must say the atmosphere was superb.
The anthem especially, Lump in throat time i'm not ashamed to admit. :D

Most places sell them cheaper then the face value.
