Tesco - Selling jack shirts

They're trying to take over the entire Welsh support. Welsh colours for their away top, flogging shirts all around the valleys. They've had Swansea shirts in Tescos for a long time now.

I find Swansea fans alot more bitter than Cardiff. Even when they're winning. Years of dominance and two years in the lime light and they think they're the belle of the ball.

Whatever tesco's was selling it was not swans home or away tops from this season, as you cannot even buy one in the swans club shop, completely sold out 45000 home and 45000 away tops sold before xmas.

We didn't have that many, it was something like 10-20,000 shirts but we didn't have gates of 17k against Wigan - it was 19,700 and all the empty seats were in the away end - it was a home sell out.

Lies there was many fans dressed up as seats when i seen the highlights on MOTD so it wasnt 45k shirts home/away as the poster glory the tom pepper said

They will sell shirts that sell, so obviously there's a demand for Swansea City shirts in Merthyr. Merthyr might not be white, but it's certainly not blue.

So i walks in merthyr tesco yesterday thinking i shall go look at the laptops up on the top floor, as im on the moving stairs at the top im amazed to see to the left of me a section of jack shirts on a fairly big rack on there own, so i asked one of the many young buck tooth teens who currently work that section "OH WTF ARE THEY DOING IN YA SON" the student to be replyed "THERE HALF PRICE BECAUSE THERE NOT SELLING", so i spat on them twice while passing and went on with my adventure

Unsurprisingly, last seasons kit - even at the time of the original post. No body would want to buy a kit in July which their team will never play in again, when at the same time the new kits had just been released.

It was 45000 thats what the manageress of the club shop told me, and by all accounts they have ordered 60000 for next season, try and buy a swans top no chance they are all gone.

Bluebird 1977 ,all these comments on Swansea threads lately its not like,u,u usually stay away from them,mabee its u being top of the pile for a few weeks now is giving u a bit of cockyness or is it just a bit of jealously knowing that EVEN IF u do get promoted this season automatically or via playoffs its still in the shadow of wot we have achieved this season,it must b KILLING YOU

Most Swansea threads on here are started ur Cardiff fans,as for supporting the Swansea always have since was kid for over 30yrs,.the majority are Cardiff but there are many swans fans in the area ,I know between 20 and 30 boys from treharris,trelewis and bedlinog who go dwn regular and have for many years,

What you fail to mention of course is that they are half price because they are last seasons shirts.
