I f*cking cringe when they sing hymns and arias. Check out the words to the song and not just the verse. It mentions Phil Bennett and how Wales love to beat the English at RUGBY. They'll be hiring Max Boyce next.f*cking embarrassing.

We would be praising the Jacks if they were located in Hull, that's a fact.

You are becoming as bad as the rest of the embarrassing portion of the forum in terms of making things up just to put the jacks down.
Where is your source that they are ex man utd fans and rugby fans?

Smource source.
Anecdotal evidence for starters, know a lot of people down west, proper west, who used to be Manchester United/Liverpool fans before the Jacks started doing well, many eggers too. The fact that club had to tell fans last season not to wear United clobber last season is embarrassing.
Like I said, it does not matter whilst you lot are in the top league and with your success in the last few seasons lets hope for your sake they stay around if you go down.

The increase in home attendance from championship to premiership has been around 2,000.
I'm sure you do know a few down west, and I'm sure you know a few plastics... However if we are being realistic, how many people can one man know in an area he isn't from, that happen to like football, that used to support a premier league team but now support Swansea - it can't be many. Certainly not enough to make any sort of judgement.
As for rugby, not sure i understand that point. I watch rugby too, and tennis but am a Cardiff fan through and through. Am I a tennis eggy?

FFS, 3 pages on this....
you seriously will grasp at anything and everything.... I remember when you lot, like us, were getting 2k crowds in division 4.... what about your plastics, all wearing their nice red scarves.... plastics are something we shuld all get used to...
Hymns and Arias is sung by the whole ground so yes there are plastics singing it, but it emanates from the East Stand where the old North Bank crowd stand.... it's a song by a guy who's from the area, it's anthemic, it gets the whole crowd singing, one of the best moments this season was home to Liverpool, their fans piped up with YNWA and Hymns and arias just flushed it out completely, made the hairs on my neck stand and a smile rise on my face....
we've all got a mate who said this and that and has opinions, a mate of mine is a city fan who was at the game when we beat them 1-0 last season, half an hour in and the dale cavese was pumping out of the east stand and one guy put his hands over his ears and started saying "make them stop, make them stop" he said loudest crowd he's ever experienced, so we can all say someone said this and that, but the fact is the atmosphere, no matter what words come out of their mouths, is fantastic at our ground and somber at best at yours... which is partly down to the fact that the old North Bank lot gravitated towards the north east corner, near the away fans.....
seriously, if that's all you have over us I'll sleep well tonight!!!!

YNWA was being bellowed out by the away fans and half the Swans fans no doubt.
