Cardiff City, Swansea, Stoke, Southampton, Everton , Sunderland, Newcastle the list goes on have none to talk about.

Fcuk all to do with the badge or colour........

Arsenal inconsistent mediocre history?? I would partly agree with the inconsistent bit because of the last 8 years, but mediocre history?? oh dear.

You just have to look around the stadium at all them young kids won embraced the red and they are now the future of Cardiff city

Carwyn - The role model Man U, has the biggest debt of all...........

Yes and MUFC also make the biggest profit and therefore can easily service their debt. The problem with us is without a saftey net (Vincent Tan) we have no hope of servicing our debts and therefore need to market ourselves to places like the Far East.

The 'dinasour' reference is a discriptive term used to highlight the out of date thinking of some fans who appear to be stuck in the past. I have spent loads of money following CCFC, not as much as some, but quite alot and I am refered to as a 'sell out' because I accept the reasoning behind the rebrand.

Again this is a discriptive term which holds as much water as the dinasour term. I understand why those against the rebrand use it and I don't find it offensive at all, indeed I'm quite happy to call myself a 'sell out'

So drop the victim card it adds absolutely nothing to the debate.

To a 20 year old South East Asian kid Arsenal are about as important as PSG or Spurs, just a team Man U , Madrid or Barca play occasionally.

There must be 100 more glamorous clubs before the kid spends his very hard earned cash on Cardiff City......Unless there is a bigger catch to draw them in.I wonder where that will lead ?

Tony I have tried makin these points myself in this thread about debt servicing and ccfc history of running before we can walk financially and how the further FairPlay rules will favour. Clubs who increase revenue streams and the importance of the rebrand in achieving this but I get called a sell out etc just because I am educated and understand the complexity of finance, marketing and business! Doesn't mean I like the red at all but with china and Asia becoming the dominating force worldwide it makes sense to use colours and marketing techniques tht will appeal to that market and with possible promotion more and more Asians will see Cardiff city FC and that is only good for the brand and our revenue it's as simple as that, I understand the fans that feel hurt and it is strange feeling seeing a sea of red but in 100 years time if this club has moved on to become a big player with trophys I am sure it will go down in history as the turning point for Cardiff city football club and likewise if it fails then we will be back to blue playing in league two or worse liquidated either way in along for the ride for the rest of my living days as I just don't feel I can end my association with a club I have watched since the age of 5 and a club I fell in live with 20 years ago

Lol very true mate

I do feel your pain but you are correct unfortunately it is the way football is goin and getting to the premier league has become a must for many clubs in championship cos of the revenue it brings with it, again the major downfall in football though must be attributed to the unreal greed of the players ie wages and the leaches on their bak( agents) they are the real reason for the demise of football and the rise in prices to us the fans! Morally football is messed up but I just can't drag myself away from it for any reason at the moment like a drug!

Yeah I agree mate, football as a whole is ruined just never thought my club would be the biggest culprit of them all.

I really wish I could wipe my memory ha ha, I get so wound up by the topic. Think I need some valium
