Unfortunately I have no doubt that it will be a further loan to the club.
Even if it is adam whats the diffrence, still a non debt free club both ways its what hes owed one man, f**k if somebody owes me £20 quid im hounding them, i think its another media spin by the club as we have had a few, but like one poster said its still near the bottom of wages bills int he prem and thats what it might take to stay up eitherway if the club are going off otherclubs wage bills per season.

Read again A NON DEBT FREE CLUB i put NON in there, makes no diffrence if its £1 or 1billion in loans its the same thing owed to one man, if we pays everything off sam, pmg, all the other sharks over the years he is still owned whatever it is anyway so its a debt and could be calling in any time or sell the club on eitherway why we would never be debt free in both cases.Angry Man wrote:bluebird1977 wrote:Angry Man wrote:welshcitydragon wrote:That is Fantastic news IF! its not just marked down to us as a loan ,so if VT walks away at some point in the future , we have to pay it all back, & with interest, After all he is a Businessmen first & last.

If the administration route was taken then all the players would be sold for nominal fees and so would the stadium. Administration is not an easy option as some like to think.

It's not going to be Tans money, it is the sky money the club will earn. £50 million budget is NORMAL, barely normal at that if considering the inflation that will naturally happen with increased tv money from next year. We will probably have the lowest budget in the premier league if its £50 million.
Wigan have a £44 million wage bill alone to put it into context.
So it won't be debt, it won't be tans money, it's not from the goodness of his heart. it's not far off the BARE MINIMUM a newly promoted side could think about spending to not be written off before the season starts.
Jeez.

Most newly promoted sides have a wage bill in the region of £30-£40 million. Wolves last year had a wage bill of £30 million and Birmingham had a wage bill of £37 million.... Yet were relegated easily.
So going by that we are hoping to have a normal wage bill with a normal transfer budget (£10 - 15 million).

I was wondering that.
The total revenues raised by any Premiership club must be around £50m. So are we being told that Malky simply has what everyone else has or is this £50m in addition to what we are getting any way?

Next year revenues will be £65m minimum with the increase in sky money.
The money is clearly coming from that. The budget will be akin to that, if not slightly less, than Wigans budget. That should allow us to break even as we have to pay a crazy amount of promotion bonuses too. But it won't touch the debt as some thought promotion would.
