Walking away achieves nothing. Even if 1000 of us stopped going it would change nothing. 1000 of us stood outside the front of CCS before or after the Blackburn game all in BLUE expressing our feeling, with SKY Sports News, BBC, The press etc their may not get change straight away but at least we would have started something, something that other fans feel they could be a part of. And from little acorns.....
I am convinced that there are many fans that would join a protest and a protest group if it is organised properly. God we live in the age of social media, this should be easy stuff really shouldn't it.
What are we going to do, sit back and take this shit or fight for OUR clubs identity?
WE ARE CARDIFF CITY - THE BLUEBIRDS

I will never ever lose my love for the club as I will never lose the love I have for my kids no matter how much they change going forward. I have always respected your views but always believed like me that the football team that plays in Cardiff and is called called Cardiff with a history of over 100 years meant as much to you as it did to me. I guess a change of colour and a change of badge changes things for you as a move away from Cardiff or a change of name would change things for me. Whilst Cardiff plays in Cardiff whether it be playing in blue, red or pink with polka dots and whether it has a carp on the badge or a bluebird or a dragon I will always love this club.

It would be goo if everyone that is opposed would join the trust, then thet can give the trust mandate to take action. Things have changed significantly since last May when we were all too scared that tan would walk away, but i get the feeling that the trust want to do something and we could give them the power to do it.

This is a strange time to be a Cardiff City fan, on one hand we are on course for one of the biggest prizes in football, but on the other hand we are not doing it in our traditional blue , it does somewhat seem a bit tainted.
However it's still our club we were hear before Tan and I wont let him or anyone else force me out of my club, I believe 1 day we will return to blue admittedly not for a few years , it's still my club and always will be BLUEBIRDS![]()

The problem is as much as I respect you views there are so many fans who think opposite to each other and thats what the re brand has achieved I dont no what else it has achieved but us fans are so far apart .
Years gone buy we would all walk up united and watch the city them days are gone you have to at least admit that.
You can love the club all you like and thats great but just like I love the club but the situation created is not a good for us or CCFC.

Says "blue"lover. Or should that be red, pink or polka dots lover.
Strangely no one has ever said that to me before. We were blue when i joined this board many years ago. Its as simple as that really and yes if I had joined now I may well have called myself redlover as the team I support happens to plays in red and if I had joined in years to come and we happened to play in pink or polka dots then maybe I may have called myself some clever and meaningful name like Mario Polotelli.

How many businesses, and yes Cardiff City AFC is a business, have been around for 100 years without having had to evolve to survive and/or compete. We are not a big club as much as we want to believe we are but we can become a big club but only through investment and by increasing our market.
The business that is Cardiff City is loss making like most other football clubs and if we don't evolve then we will not survive at this level for much longer. We currently have what the majority of us have always wanted, a businessman who wants to take this club forward and has the clout to do it.
Some say that they would prefer to play Division 2 football in front of crowds of 3,000 like the 'good' old days if it meant we had a blue shirt on the players back but the majority want the club to play and compete in top league football. To do that long term Cardiff City needs to appeal to a wider audience, to increase its marketing potential as astronomical player wages need to be sourced, everyone surely can understand that is absolutely essential.
Some of course hope a local sugar daddy will come in and subsidise players wages year on year. I would like to think we can compete at the top of the Premier league in years to come and with the likes of Arsenal paying wages of £140m a year, we aren't going to get a sugar daddy capable of covering costs like that and we are never ever going to generate sufficient income locally to enable us to compete at the top.
Tan is a clever businessman who obviously believes he can succeed in getting our club to appeal to a wider market and has serious connections in what will become the largest market in the world. I don't believe for one second he will ever take away our name or move the club away from Cardiff and if he ever did either of those things then I would walk, but I 100% understand the importance of brand and if he feels that a red shirt will appeal in the far east then who am I to argue.
Historically, we have changed name, shirt colour and ground and people will no doubt have protested against those changes. If we hadn't evolved we would still be Riverside playing local league football as a secondary sport behind cricket in a non-blue shirt.
Its essential that we evolve to survive, I can't believe for one second that there is anyone on this board who doesn't believe that. Tan has his ideas on how to evolve this business, if there is anyone on this board who can offer an alternative businessplan that involves a blue shirt and has money to burn then please come out of the shadows now. The reality is, as evidenced at the Brighton game, the majority of fans are prepared to go along with Tan's vision. Whilst I understand that some can't stomach a change of shirt colour or badge, to say that this is enough to make them stop loving the Club just does my head in, I will never understand that sorry

I agree with every word mate. These are potentially great times for our Club. Let's get to the Premier League....let's get established....let Tan expand the stadium...let him build the new training ground...let him clear the debt. When all this is in place then we are on safe ground to put massive pressure on to change back to blue. He won't want to throw it all away...that's for sure. By this time we'd be a very attractive proposition to many other billionaires, and if Tan decides to sell the new owners would no doubt be willing to revert to blue in order to get the fans onside. This is Cardiff City....enjoy the ride.

out of interest, why do you think it so necessary to spend a shedload of cash on players/wages to compete in the prem? qpr did, look where they are right now. portsmouth did, look where they are. same for leeds. villa have spent loads, theyre not in any great shakes.
yet west brom, stoke, ourselves, norwich all havent and we're looking pretty good no? you talk about wanting to compete - unfortunately i cant see any new clubs breaking the mould, and the way to do it would be through a sustained build up, not going shit or bust.
