Holy moly, you're digging yourself a hole now

On my ex wifes side there is a women marriage. There are 3 children involved, one child from my ex wifes sister who had a boyfriend before she became a lemon, the other 2 kids have come along after this ex wifes sister got married to this other lemon who through Internet searching found a bloke who twice volunteered to seminate her.

This is all so so wrong.

To the religious ones out there who say God does not condone homosexuality... why does it exist then? If God created the world and everything in it... how does homosexuality exist? Or is that one of Satan's ones? Everything good is made by God and everything not good is Satan?

As someone said, I can understand no gay marriage in a church. It's a religion and religions have the right to believe what they want to believe but at least give gay couples equal rights outside of religion.

Never said anything about being 'better' than you and never would. I just feel that your response is a little narrow minded and worrying when plenty of kids need homes and a loving family but becuase they might be male then lets just leave them in care.

I've met many people over the years who've had a perfect upbringing with a gay couple and gone on to have families of their own whether they are straight or gay.

Taffy thinks that homosexuality is in some way comparable to taking Class A drugs, hoarding firearms and preparing for a robbery (?!) Deeply saddening to read in this day and age.

Thus, he implies that we should actually protect kids from homosexuality (why?!) which would only strengthen the view that it is 'wrong' and 'unnatural' to them.

How would that make them feel if they were gay?

Furthermore, why should we be hiding homosexuality from children? Surely we should be showing them that straight/gay/lesbian/bisexuals are all entitled to equal rights? Marriage, adoptions etc. By denying homosexuals basic rights you are sending out a terrible message. That message being, 'These people are in the wrong'.

Personally think 90% of marriages these days are just civil partnerships ie a contract between two people who want to be together. Marriage seems to be a religious thing and most marriages these days don't involve religious people. I'd make it so civil partnerships were the norm and marriage just for religious folk. Whether the religious folk are gay or not is up to them and their religion and their church and minister so I wouldn't stop anyone who wants to be religious getting married. I'd just start making people call marriage what it is these days.

People can do what they want, it doesn't effect me in the slightest so who am I to stop other people enjoying there life.

A girl in work got married to her girlfriend and they are so happy, it doesnt effect me so how or why would I not want her to be unhappy? she is a lovely lady.

If two people love each other then it shouldn't matter. It doesn't involve anyone else. People don't choose to be gay, that's what most of you need to understand.
