Not too sure who has won the windup in this thread.

Anyway I think the EPL has been really poor the last 2 seasons. I bet those premier clubs fighting a relegation battle are really worried about performing in the championship. I mean just look at how Wolves, Bolton and Blackburn have done. On the other hand those clubs in the championship going for promotion can't wait to get to the premier because from what they are seeing it does not look a daunting place at all.

IncrediblyIntelligentJack wrote:Yes thats right the annual Cardiff collapse will soon be upon us. This season it will start with a couple of strange results, a couple of draws with the odd defeat chucked in for good measure. The inevitable slip into the play off zone will come around early April time.

There will be tears and cries for Malky's head before the redbirds just about cling on to a play off place at seasons end. The home leg of the play off will not sell out and the second leg will go to penalties, From here it could go one of 2 ways, you scrape through on penalties for that dreaded play off final at Wembley (scene of your neighbours triumphunt cup victory a few months prior) where again you will go in front only to be denied by 2 late goals ala Macclesfield, the devastation will be tenfold compared to the Blackpool game as most will realise there will be no more chances. The other scenario is to lose on penalties in the play off semi.

Anyway sit back, relax and enjoy this years comedic genius that is the Annual Cardiff City Meltdown, starting Saturday 12th January 15:00. Hope you can join us. :ayatollah:

I can't see I happening this year, we have much bigger squad than previous years, with players who will give it all for our club, we will soon see at the end of the season.

I think you should concentrate more about how your going to cope with Chelsea in the cup, that's going to be interesting.

Has I have said before I have lots of mates from Swansea and I enjoy the banter with them, ur lot are doing very well, and if i was a gambling man I would say you look faves to win the cup :(
However Birmingham won the cup a few back, where are they now :D :D Be careful what you wish for :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Will we slip up this year ? I don't think so, last year was an achievement just getting to the playoffs, you could say our cup run had a major effect on this with our very small group pf players.
But this year can not see us collapsing, so see you next year unless of course you do a BIRMINGHAM

IncrediblyIncompetantJerk=Ultra-Obsessed Effeminate Troll Waster. Enjoy your time in the sun. A backwater minor club like Swansea is never going too last too long in the prem before the bubble bursts, so post your bollocks whilst you still can. And then back to harsh reality. And you know its the truth. Pretty Shitty City.
