Waites, o'shea, harms, green, bunting etc. Unfortunately the players who get to the last four have to give their prize money back to the bdo if they cross over, so its unlikely we'll be seeing scotty waites or wesley harms in the pdc this year :(

that wouldnt be a problem, if the PDC wanted them im sure there would be a nice "welcome bonus" available.

Dont think so mate, they're from Merthyr and went to a school in merthyr and more importantly neither of them could play football to save their lives

They will just be making up the numbers mate. I dont think you realise how many top players there are in the PDC

Obviously your Taylors, MVG, Lewis, Barney, Whitlock, Anderson, Wade are there or thereabouts every tournament.

Then the likes of Newton, Terry Jenkins, Kevin Painter, Merv King, Andy Hamilton, Rob Thornton, Paul Nicholson, Colin Lloyd, Vince Van Der Voort, Ronnie Baxter, Kim Hybrechts, Justin Pipe, Mark Webster, etc, etc

Thats 20 players straight off the top of my head and ive probably missed loads.

For the likes of Scott Waites yes, not the rest though. Maybe O Shea.

Dont want that Stephen Bunting anywhere near my TV screen he would scare my kids half to death.

Hahaha I like your cynical view. But, good players that they are, I can't see the pdc shelling out 100'000 to get them over

they wouldnt need too.

When Barney moved, im pretty sure they granted him a wildcard to the main events so he didnt have to qualify.

Also, only the winner will get £100,000.

like polo said, Waites is the only one really, i think bunting would be good enough, actually think he will go too.

Yes but even 50 grand is hard to just give up. There be no more wild cards handed out. I suppose someone like waites could maybe afford to take the risk of handing the cash back, hes been around a while. Someone like harms on the other hand, I really can't see him being able to hand it back and take the risk of earning a a living in the pdc from scratch

£50,000 after the taxmans cut and manager etc, its only about £20k at the most.

Only 20grand??? Higher than the average annual salary! Its a big rig risk for a young guy like harms

No way would they give up £100k. Barney was a one-off he was the biggest name by far in the BDO and the PDC really wanted their man.

Heres the earniings. Not bad for a pub game.

can earn that back rather quickly though to be fair.
