alterations to our stadium. We have been informed by posters on this forum that in the event of us attaining premier
league status, the seating arrangements at our stadium would be reconfigured slightly so that the capacity would be
increased to 27,000 for next season and if we managed to stay up for a second season then the capacity would
further increased to the 35,000 which has been allowed for by design.
If the powers that be are now having second thoughts on this and are considering increasing the
capacity to its maximum straight away, then there are two possibilities open to them.
(1).They can do what Blackpool did and obtain permission from the Premier League to play their first six or eight
home fixtures at their opponents grounds and then play the scheduled away fixtures at home,OR
(2).Obtain permission to play the requisite number of home games at an alternate venue(MillStad),while the work
is carried out on CCS.
Obviously,in order to make an informed decision, enquiries as to the availability of the alternate venue would have
to made.

If the rumour of us using the Mill Stad is true then IMO this is the most credible explanation why.

Thought all this was internet bollocks but after reading the above now I feel its feasable.

VTs promise of investment has been luke warm to me and its getting colder. I don't consider the the new players
he has brought as solid proof due to the fact he needs us in the premier to stand any chance of not losing face. I will judge his intentions on the other pieces such as debt to equity, training facility and finally the expandion of the stadium.

Lately the expansion has turned a corner as I was under the impression if we went up then it would go ahead. Now we hear we need to spend a season in the premier for it to go ahead. I took that as a let down. Obviously I hope my fears are unwarranted and I hope there is some truth in all of this above.

Would they grant us that? Its not a necessary expansion.

Blackpool got permission for safety reasons, not because they wanted more people through the gates.
