Angry Man wrote:well back in the summer Gwyn stated in front of he says 120 I would say 150 people that if Tan doesn't turn the debt into shares in 6 months time then he will be the first to jump the fence.
Now the 6 month period is up in the later part of January so many people are waiting for the great leap from our Gwyn to see if he's true to his word.
Unfortunately as he knows this time is approaching first he's been trying to change the wording of what he said but people know. Even the other board are constantly reminding him of his statement and the wait is almost over because no debt has been turned into shares as of yet.

Polo,
I was not going to get involved in this post, but you were not there Polo, so dont involve me. As time went on, I realised we were being dictated to and blackmailed, that made me more against Tan.
Thats it, end of I hate the rebranding, but I still go and love my football, actually at Blackburn away I stood on my seat and clapped them at the end as they all came over. But I still F hate the colour/badge, but I wont desert.

I said a compromise.
Rem what you said at the Municipal club,If in 6 months time Tan has not changed the debt he has created in to shares/equity,you will be first over the fence at Tan. not rumours I heard it myself loud and clear. just 3 weeks away for Tan to do that. Like you and everyone wanted a debt free club first.
Gwyn replied.
"I remember well what i said, it's you that get's easily mixed up and hears what he wants to hear, others were there and heard the same comments.
Here goes again (now keep this saved and have a look to remind yourself now and then ) I said at the meeting, why protest now, what do you hope to achieve, if in six months time we find out he's shafted us or ripped us off, then protest, and I'll be first over the wall.
Now how you turn that into debt to equity is over my head, but I repeat personally i don't give a flying f**k whether he turns the debt into equity now or ever for that matter, it doesn't concern us and until he comes to sell the club it makes no difference, the club will have a value and debt and equity will be taken into account at that time, but it doesn't involve me or any other fan, what difference to you see either way.
It's his debt to himself, if he pays it off, he pays himself, we don't own the club, he still does lock stock and barrel, just because in business terms there is no debt, how does it help us or make things worse.
I care not a jot either way, because it doesn't affect me, but somehow it seems to affect you, perhaps you can explain why?"
That was from a thread about supporting the KCB.
After reading that bit it sounds like gwyn is right, unless you take annis's word for it.

"My personal view and the approach I intend taking, is to fully support the team on the pitch as always, hope and pray that VT fulfills his promises that went along with the rebrand,he deserves at least that much after rescuing us from the mess we were in, however if in six months or so time it is apparent we have been lied to or shafted, then it's a whole new ball game and we should all let him know the consequences, but until then we should keep our powder dry."
Second quote below was your reply to my post titled F.A.O Gwyn posted July 31st at 09.21.
"What I said from the start and still stand by, is if VT does shaft us, and I don't think that he will, then we should protest and give him both barrels. If on the other hand he invests as he has said he will, then we should thank him for his support and work with him to try and negotiate changes that the fans want, but which are acceptable too him."
I am sure there is more and will look deeper if needed but the above proves the point.

I am asking you straight, do you condemn the threats of violence made by your acquaintances at the KCB meeting?
Yes or no will suffice.
Condemn them, my God it was terrifying, they should be hung, drawn quartered, starved, water boarded, I was shaking for hours big bully boys, nasty nasty people, they were really scary, I went straight home and told my mother about what the big boys had said.
I can't understand why nobody reported them to the police, well actually has I said earlier a few did, but it was all unfounded, but still scary, they had tattoos and baseball hats.
If I condemn them, will you keep it to yourself and not split on me.
Hey Gwyn, the clock's ticking. You've got a selective memory but maybe you remember saying this at the meeting?
"If he hasn't turned his debt into shares in 6 months, I'll be the first one over the barricades."
TICK TOCK
Again more here say, ask people for the truth, what I said was firstly in the form of a question where i asked what they hoped to achieve by protesting at that moment, my view then as it is now was the more he had invested, risked or tied into the club, the more chance we had of getting him to change or adjust some of his decisions.
I then saaid that give it six months to see how things had progressed and if we find that he has shafted us by asset stripping or setting out to deliberately harm us, then protest and I would be first over the fence.
Now you may translate that into debt to equity in your head, but it's not what I said, and personally even now, I don't give a flying foof about the debt to equity, it's the same position we are in.
If it make business sense to hold of until Sam?Langston agree to settle, then so be it, if it makes business sense to keep it as a debt, the so be it, it's his debt, his money his club, even if he turns the debt to equity, it;s his equity, his club, it will never be ours.
Don't understand the fuss, it don't change anything either way, we are reliant on his financial support, and when we don't need to be and run at a profit, he will no doubt sell us and make a healthy profit, and good on him. Never thought he was here because he felt sorry for us and was performing a charitable act, he obviously sees the potential to make money, and whilst it's not what we may want, that is how it is, and not just at Cardiff.
I know what you said.
TICK TOCK

I think you will find it is proof. Gwyn is talking about the VTs promises that went along with the rebrand which was the settling of the Langston debt. He clearly gives a timescale of 6 months and then threatens consequences. How much more proof do you need.
That's not proof, however I remember a similar thread like that saying he'd be first over the fence.
