Cardiff born and lived here all my life.
Bluebird since I can remember.
Don't get to away games to often due to health problems.
Favourite moments gotta be Nathan Blake vs man city, scott young vs Leeds and Ledley vs Barnsley followed closely by chopras and bellamys winners vs the jacks respectively.
Not much else to add other than I fuckin love the bluebirds and thinking about the jacks in the top flight makes me feel sick, whether they deserved it or not. I joined a while ago but haven't posted hoping to get mote involved now under new management and beginning a new era.

born and raised in Caerphilly but lived in Cardiff for 6 years, been following City since 95/96,first player I ever seen score for us was Darren Adams lol.
Currently sit in Block 116 of the Ninian Stand and used to go in either Blocks A or B of the Grandstand in the last 2/3 seasons at Ninian Park. Before then a season ticket holder on the Bob Bank Terrace, great days.
Favourite player(s): Robert Earnshaw, Mark Bonner, Willie Boland, Graham Kavanagh, Craig Middleton, Andy Legg, Tony Vidmar, Peter Thorne, Chris Gunter, Aaron Ramsey.
Favourite matches/moment: Beating Leeds United who were then top of the Premiership 2-1 in the FA Cup 3rd Round, QPR 1-0 play-off final of '03, Barnsley 1-0 FA Cup Semis '08, Portsmouth 0-1 FA Cup Final '08 (although we lost still an excellent feeling to be watching my team in the FA Cup Final), Jacks 2-1 Chopra late winner ha ha
Favourite manager: Frank Burrows. The man was a legend if not a little nuts and I've heared many a funny story from former players since.

Got interested in the sport after the last World Cup.
New Fan, I spent the entire year watching the leagues trying to choose which team I would throw my support (for what it's worth) behind. Of all the teams in English Football, Cardiff stood out to me. Not sure why, I just really liked everything about the team, the city, and the tradition. I have done a lot of research but am still new, of course. I have three sons who all cheer for the Bluebirds now, and we were all devestated after the Reading loss. Anyways just joined the boards and I am trying to read as much as I can when I have a chance. Learning alot fast. Go Cardiff.

Oh and here's my story:
I grew up in a part of NY where soccer really didn't exist until the mid 90s. We didn't even have teams that you could join in my area until then. I had been playing for a few years prior to that since we had some friends who we would play indoor with at a local gym. Anyhow, by the time we started seeing the Premiership on TV here it was 1993. It was only a half hour highlights show but I was captivated by it. I liked Ian Wright and watching Arsenal highlights but never really selected a team. Then when the internet came to the rolling hills of New York around 1996 I realized that there was more than just the Premier League, but several divisions of the English league. By then I loved the game and decided it was time to choose a side to support. So who to choose...
From an early age, my grandmother (Glynnis from Pontypridd but raised in the States from the time she was 8 years old) indoctrinated us to the glories of Wales and made sure that we all knew she was Welsh, not English...and by God, we all were too. So to pay tribute to her, I decided to choose one of the three Welsh teams in the top 4 tiers of the English League at the time. Although my gran talked fondly of memories of the beaches of Swansea as a child I knew that I could never live with myself supporting a bunch of thieving, peg-selling...er, I mean entrepreneurial traveling folk. So the choice was easy for me and my love affair with Cardiff City began.
I wish I could be more connected to the club, but obviously living State-side it can be difficult. I get up early on Saturday mornings to listen to the matches (as I have done for years), and occasionally get to see our beloved bluebirds play on television (this year I saw 6 or 7 matches on live TV). As you as you know, probably better than I do, following the City is an act of loyalty, devotion, and above all masochism. After our collapse this year, and our bitter rivals' promotion, I finally felt like a true City fan because I knew damn well that no matter what, I would be behind the team next season. I would be crawling out of bed at ungodly hours to listen to the bluebirds whether they were playing in the champions league final, were in a relegation dogfight, or were restructured as Riverside AFC 2.0 in the LOW. No matter what, I'll keep on supporting the club I have come to love despite our unlikely and serendipitous pairing.
Onwards and upwards...
