I didnt avoid the question, i answered it in more detail than I was ever required to do.

Your questions revolve around me having power of selection of the Swansea team - i dont.

Laudrup does. And when Michu is available he often makes the wrong selection. Play him in his attacking hole and id have him back in a shot. Rotate with Bony and drop Voldemort completely then id rather us be without.

Its a simple concept really.

I dont think Laudrup would play Michu in the position Amat is filling. So where is the choice?

Im sure we have been here before havent we?

Martyn, the only person who believes that actually happened is himself.

I have given you the choice, several times, you just wont answer it straight as it means you contradiciting yourself about there not being a gap for Michu :laughing6:

There is gap in midfield (or the holding midfield role as you put it even though you called De Guzman an AC and an AM :laughing6: ) that would allow Shelvey to play there, the position he was bought for, Michu in his usual no.10 or AM position and Britton holding his usual DM position. All 3 players playing in their correct position.

Unless of course you are saying you prefer it as yesterday with your reserve CB in the DM, Britton playing a more attacking midfield role and Shelvey as the AM. :laughing6:

Check mate.

ME a choice, you have given ME a choice. Please understand what this means.

I dont have any say in team selections. Whether I think I could find a place for Michu is irrelevant and hence your question is irrelevant.

It is my belief that if Michu was available then Laudrup will be attempting to fit him in up front or drop Shelvey for him. Neother of which I would want hence why I and other Swansea fans dont miss him.

Please understand this as its very boring now for what is a simple concept.

it has nothing to do with what I prefer, im not swansea manager. Its to do with what I think Laudrup prefers.... Which makes me not miss him. Capiche?

So the latest avoidance tactic is you cant answer the question as you are not the manager.

So what you are saying is you cannot give your opinion on team selection on a football forum as you are not the manager.

Yet you are happy to say you would prefer in plenty of other scenarios, many on this thread alone.

I take your avoidance of giving an answer as check mate

You really cant be that thick? Can you?

You are trying to find out why I dont miss Michu given our injuries. I have told you that our injuries arent in the position that Michu fills and prefer the options currently there - namely Bony and Shelvey.

You are now asking whether I would prefer Michu to play the defensive role rather than Amat alluding to the fact that if I say yes then I should miss him as he can ay there... Which is where your argument falls flat on its face.

It is my belief IF michu was available then he would not be filling any gaps but instead ousting one of our top performers and thus the team would suffer and all the while no gap would be filled by his return.

So do I want him back now? Probably not. Do I want him back if I were manager? Certainly.

Which part of that confuses you then?

You said there is no gap for Michu. I have showed you the gap.

To suggest Bony or Shelvey would have missed out and still kept Amat and Britton in the team, and out of position is such a nonsense. :laughing5:

I dont think there is a City manager, staff member or supporter who would have choose any different given what little options you had available in midfield yesterday.

But hey, you dont want michu back, your best player for decades, you would rather keep Amat in midfield. Obviously. :laughing6:

what? I havent denied there is a gap. Are you on your drug binge? I have stated if he comes back i dont think he would be used to fill that gap. Which is why your question you are getting all excited about is pointless

To suggest Bony or Shelvey would have missed out and still kept Amat and Britton in the team, and out of position is such a nonsense. :laughing5:

nope, its not. Amat is a decent emergency defensive midfielder as it goes there is no way Michu would be put there. And even if he wasnt it would mean the shuffling of Shelvey or even Bony which I have told you I do not condone. Simple surely?

I dont think there is a City manager, staff member or supporter who would have choose any different given what little options you had available in midfield yesterday.

then you dont know Laudrup then clearly..

But hey, you dont want michu back, your best player for decades, you would rather keep Amat in midfield. Obviously. :laughing6:

again, please dont tell me you are this thick?

Van Persie is Man Uniteds best player in a while. If him being available meant Moyes plays him in defence instead of Jones... Would man united fans want him available? No.

Same here.

Re: Spurs all over jacks

If cant answer the question straight then deny, lie, make stuff up and answer different questions

You stated there was no gap for Michu a couple of pages back.

I havent suggested playing Michu in DM, so what the f*ck that RVP comparison is all about I dont know.

To fit Michu in meant Bony stilll plays and NO-ONE in the midfield plays out of position yet yesterday all 3 played out of their usual position.

Check mate for the umpteenth time

Mario Polotelli wrote:If cant answer the question straight then deny, lie, and answer different questions

of course I can answer your question and have done several times. I would have him back if i controlled where he would play, however if he was available now im sure laudrup would continue to misuse him to the detriment of the team. Again .- simple.

You stated there was no gap for Michu a couple of pages back.

There is 11 places on a football field. There is a gap for him in goals if the selector so wishes. However as far as I am concerned (and thats the purpose of this debate lets not forget) there is no gap for him that Laudrup would directly fill.

I havent suggested playing Michu in DM, so what the f*ck that RVP comparison is all about I dont know.

well if you read properly then you would understand, i cant be any more clear. In fact ill do it in caps. IF MICHU WAS AVAILABLE I DONT THINK HE WOULD BE PLAYED IN HIS POSITION THUS OUSTING A TOP PERFORMER TO THE DETRIMENT OF THE SIDE. better?

To fit Michu in meant NO-ONE in the midfield plays out of position yet yesterday all 3 played out of their usual position.

completely agree with you. However as i keep telling you, we dont pick the side and Laudrup is intent on playing Michu up front or juggling the side to accommodate him. Attack isnt our problem, the wings are and our defensive unit.

So splitting the attack up into the various positions but still counting the defensive unit as one :laughing5:

Even though your first choice back 4 have all been fit and playing together for 6 weeks or so now

Go to bed Roathie youve had a bad day at the office today.

not at all. In the same sentence I said "attack isnt the problem" didnt I?

Im fully aware there are different positions in the defensive unit as well as the attacking unit.

what is your point?

Even though your first choice back 4 have all been fit and playing together for 6 weeks or so now

what has that got to do with anything?

Every one of our defensive minded players have missed premier league games this season. We currently have a third out at this moment.

Go to bed Roathie youve had a bad day at the office today.

you would love that wouldn't you. Id be the first to praise you should you make a valid point, but you cant blag a win with me sunshine. Your contribution has been shocking. And being relentless in your repetitive questioning doesnt make up for that unfortunately, you have failed to understand or listen to simple answers.

Have a sleep on it and try and come back tomorrow without tieing yourself up in knots again.

tying chris, tying. ive stuck to my guns from post 1 and continue to be spot on. I wouldnt want michu back right now as our striker and AMC are looking decent. Our problems lie where he doesnt play, this is a fact regardless of whether you get your knickers in a twist and make a song and dance about it.

I know its difficult for a liar like you but maybe just once you can do it and be honest for a change.

your contribution at this stage of the thread is just as bad as your first. Nothing sentences hoping desperately for a bite. You may learn soon that you will never get that from me, im more than happy with the fact you continue to be proven a troll and a liar and your avoidance to discuss the subject adds weight to that.
