Which lie was that? The one about telling Merthyr peole you are a facist? Or how could you have three 8 hour jobs in one day? Unless of course you were telling your pay master you were giving 8 hours but wasn't? Full time pay and part time hours perhaps? Maybe that's the answer.

Oh and I pop on here now and then because I have a life.

oh sorry I thought a full time job constanted of around 40 hours per week rather than a 8 hour day bearing in mind theres 7 days in a week. Unfortunately during that period of my life Saturday and Sundays were just normal working days so thats your answer. For the record the hotel job was a 4 on/4 off rota system of 10 hours per shift

But the thing that bothers me about your 3 jobs, is I give my one little job my full attention. I travel all over the UK staying in digs etc. Now if I were to take a second job then I would have to reduce my productivity for that one job so that I could lend time to the other. Common sense really, I would have thought. So if I did that then I should really phone my paymaster up and explain how I can't give the levels they are used to but never mind I'll take less money. That would be the right thing to do surely?

I think anyone who claims to hold 3 full time jobs must be spreading themselves very thinly. It's the laws of time and physics ffs. I mean are you saying you never slept for 2 years? You'll be telling everyone you held down the job of a tooth fairy next.

Shouldn't you say that three times? He does have three jobs like. No wonder there's no jobs in Merthyr Adam's got them all. Don't forget his overtime as well, plus there was all that door knocking he did to get elected. Vote for me and I'll make sure the council puts a bus on for you.  Plus if you put £10 quid on me to win I'm running at 16/1 at the moment....

If someone came for an interview and mentioned they already had two full-time jobs but they thought they could 'fit me in' I'd show them the door, either they are a liar, stretching the truth (have 2 part-time jobs instead of 2 full-time jobs) or if they are telling the truth so there is no way they can be fully committed and performing well in three full-time jobs. Sorry Adam I can smell it from here and I'm 4000 miles away.

Try telling my creditors at the time whether that was the right thing to do..? I give all my jobs my full attention and the I won't lie to you in saying that it was the hardest thing Ive ever had to do workwise but I take paying the bills and keeping my family safe as a important task and I will do anything to ensure that the task is done.

Sleep wise it was a crazy but you get used to it after a while. Rather than trying to be clever and funny in front of everyone maybe to should respect the reasoning why I had to do it.

If you are going to do the "quote" thing can you at least try and get it right? It would make it so much easier to see what you are quoting and what you are saying.

hotel night job: 4 on /4 off 10 hours per shift (10pm - 8am)
Taxi job: around 40 hours per week during the days over 7 days
Council job: constantly oncall, meetings during days and evenings over 7 days but meetings were always planned well in advance so could work the taxis shifts around those.

Sleepwise I would catch up with alot of it when I was off the 4 nights but I would also get the odd hour or two inbetween and get a few hours before I'd go to the hotel if I didn't have meetings in an evening.

It was f*cking hard but needed to be done. Im not ashamed to say but the family home was at risk so you'd expect me not to do anything..?

Sorry but more questions.....

What home were you buying that needed 3 jobs to support it? Buckingham Palace? Most people buy a house out of their 1 job. Why didn't you just down size to a house more suited to a little worker?

Did you really drive people around in your taxi whilst under sleep deprivation? Did you tell the authorities about this when you applied for your taxi licence? Driving without proper sleep is very dangerous you know, they say it's worse than drink driving. Were you happy about gambling with peoples lives whilst you were doing this?

I got a mortgage for a property when I was earning £50k+, my earnings dropped very suddenly after a sold my company(which Im still chasing the funds to this day), the three jobs got me back earning around £35k because I had already been tocourt with the mortgage and the judge give me a final chance to continue paying so what else could I do.?

You mention downsizing, what was the point when the price for our exsiting property dropped anyway..?

There are no questions about any other jobs on the taxi applications and different people need different amounts of sleep. The example many people give is Thatcher sleeping for 4 hours per day.

Any other questions or are you now going to believe me..?

The thing is if a bus driver or a lorry driver has to abide by driving hours then I'd assume it would be only right that any other public driver should do the same. Driving is driving afterall. It can make anyone very sleepy let alone those who've been working all night in a hotel. I know I wouldn't be happy with my loved one's getting in anyone's taxi that was driven by someone who works around 20 hours a day. When did you eat? And please tell me you took time to bath. I know you are from Merthyr but you do need personal hygene if you are driving taxi's.
Getting cleaned up and eating must take a normal person at least an hour a day plus there's other things we all need to do in a day that takes up time. So you were only getting, what, 2 hours sleep per day? I'm sorry but I'm finding this very hard to believe. I know someone who has 3 part time jobs and she genuinly struggles to find the time to shit. There's no way she would be able to turn just one of those jobs in to a full time one, let alone all three. Did you give up shitting for two years? I mean that can use up 20 mins a day can't it? Unless of course you do that whilst you are sleeping, which is possible but your wife might complain (unless you are Daya's wife who is well used to that sort of behaviour).

Just to clarify, we are working on the premise that there are 24 hours in a day, yes?

Unfortunately not bus/lorry drivers require tachographs, these days they are digital and European law requires them to use them as they can only work a certain amount of hours per week. That is not a requirement for car / van drivers yet.

There are many drivers (especially the asians in Cardiff) who work around the clock non-stop if you have an issue about that then write to your politican. Food was quick snacks during the day and my wife would have dinner ready inbetween jobs in the evening.

Some of your comments I find tasteless to be honest especially when I'm telling you about very private issues which Ive had with my mortgage company in the past.

Maybe it is difficult for you to understand but lets get one thing straight. I was in a financial mess and had I not have done what I done then God knows what would have happened. Its about time you understood that rather than trying to be a funny man with your cheap comments.

Also Adam another thought has come to me. It seems everytime you write something more things don't sit right. I'm not saying you are lieing, I'm just saying it's just not sitting right.

The thing that struck me now is you said you had a business that was paying you 50k a year. Off that you had a nice big house and a mortgage to match. That's right yes?

But then you said said you had to have three jobs because you sold that business, thus no longer getting that 50k a year. That wasn't the best move now was it?

I mean you are happily flowing along with your own business earning 50k a year when someone comes up to you and says here's a bag of money (which I'm not going to give you) sell me your business so I can earn 50k and you will then have to work 20 odd hours a day doing 3 jobs to make 35k?

And you said "Okay!"

You need to take that idea on Dragon's Den, they'll f*cking piss themselves.

If it's any consolation I also find my comments tasteless. But they are honest.

I don't think I want to write to anyone to have a pop at Asian taxi drivers in Cardiff. Do you know any of these people personally and know they drive without proper sleep? Or are you making assumptions?

As for people turning your work down, to be fair no one not even the dole would blame them. Agian just more madcap lies.

so as youare now back on-line are you going to apologise for calling me a liar..?

Well in all the jobs I've ever had they've always been 7 days a week. Perhaps I have a better work ethic than you. I like to work for mine. :D

Bette work ethic ??     you couldnt make that one up !!

Constantly trying to pick holes aren't you.

I sold my business to an individual who has yet to pay me. If you've been a member for this forum a long time you would know that the court issues and apprances have been mentioned as I have asked and received some fantastic advice from other members about the Civil court process. I have a CCJ against her and now taking bankrupcy proceedings against her. That was my mistake by accepting an instalment plan rather than a lump sum and I have always maintained that it was my fault for making that decision. Because the instalments stopped all of a sudden that quickly lead to savings running out and debts raising and with constant outgoings that then led to court action being taken against me by my mortgage company.

I couldn't go back into recruitment because there was a clause in the original agreement that I couldn't go back into recruitment for two years and the legal advice I was getting was that even through she broken the agreement it was best that I kept to my side of the deal. So with the creditors on my back the only way to get out of the hole I was in was to get flexible jobs which I can work around hense the night job and flexiblish day jobs.

In May of this year I got the CCJ on the individual and the Judge confirmed that I was free to go back into recruitment so I set up a new agency in June and its going very well so I finished with the hotel and cut my taxi hours to weekends now and I was voted out so didn't do the Council work anymore.

Anything else you want to ask to 'attempt' to be funny with or are you accepting it now..?
