I didn't watch the game but have just seen this video. To me that is a ban simply because he saw him there yet intentionally just booted it clean at him. It wasn't as if momentum took him through and he couldn't stop himself. He just continued the action and belted the ball at his head.
I think the filthy Jack idiot should be banned for at least 3 games.
What do you think?

I've played football for 4 years during school and I now play also. Williams was looking at RVP's head the whole time and did it on purpose. When asked in interview ' i was frustrated'. No excuse to take it out on RVP.

Even if he did do it on purpose, which he probably did, they can't punish you for kicking a ball at another player during open play

The FA can do what they damn well like. They have proven that time and time again.

You want a player banned for kicking a ball at another player during open play?

He chose to play for Wales because he is bollock and would never stand a chance to get a place or a call up for England where he'd have a good chance to get into a Wales team.

Give me a 100% committed Ashley Williams being proud to lead out Wales than a Ryan Giggs for example who can't be bothered to turn up when and then packs it in early any day.

If the ball hit him in the wrong part of his head, he could have done serious damage! It was an absolutely dispicable act and Williams should be given a lengthy ban. If the ball hit Van Persie in the wrong part of his head and he got severely injured, I wonder if the majority of you would still be telling Van Persie to man up? I dislike Man Utd, but I'm on Fergie's side for this one. Petr Cech, John Scales and Ian Hume are just a few examples of what could have happened to Van Persie today.

Commited? HAHA! I respect the English born who turn down the chance to play for Wales, thats commitment. Accepting your rubbish and going for the easy way to be an International is not commitment, dumb s**t.

So you'd rather Williams settle for Wales? What a lack of ambition that is. We all know getting in the England team is harder. Williams should have done the same but no, he took the easy option and thats a fact. He's representing Wales knowing had he chose England he would have never kicked a ball in international competition.

If he didn't play for Swansea he wouldn't say all this.
If it was a Cardiff player like Turner I would boycott.
