The flag is supposed to signify the unification of all four nations, it doesn't mean we have to have a dragon, rose, thistle and a clover on it does it? I quite like the Union Jack and wouldn't complain at all if I saw one down the CCS.

Why?

cos Cardiff were different to all those English clubs when I got into them in 1990. City fans were not part of the UJ waving right wing fraction like almost all other clubs, if City had them back then I would have never followed them.

IF there were Union Jacks in the CCS, it doesn't mean they'll be part of a right wing fraction, it just means they take their pride in being British. :?

pride in being welsh is acceptable to me, but british? no thanks, GB is a political union not a country. or do you fly EU flags as GB is part of the EU? dont think so...

Wrong the union flag does not signify the four nations, it signify's the act of union between England and Scotland, and since wales and england have been the same country since about 1280, wales is represented on the flag by the cross of st george, there is a lot of myth's surrounding the union flag, and wales not represented on it is one of them.

I would argue that our ancestors who have died defending Britain deserve some recognition on the flag. I find it offensive that they do not. We may be British, but we are not English

Someone's been on Wikipedia! You are correct though, Wales was in union with England in the 16th century when the flag was made. However, there is no welsh representation in the union flag unlike England Scotland and Northern Ireland. Being an independent country now, Wales should have it's own representation in the flag
