I'm clearly another one who doesn't know anything about football as well then, as I happen to agree with Scott! 
IMO a full back's most important role is to defend and whilst I thought he was found wanting for Peterborough's 2nd goal last weekend, you can usually rely on McNaughton to do a stirling job defensively!
It certainly appears to me, that Malky has a straight forward choice between playing a struggling but proven right back in McNaughton, or playing Gunnarsson out of position again, unless anybody can think of another proven right back in our squad who can come in and do a job!
