At the end of the day, sales will go through the roof, brand appeal will increase. Kids in Asia and America love Beckham so to get a shirt with his name on they'd need to buy the Cardiff City kit. There's more chance of perthcelyn getting a waitrose.

It would make worldwide news if tan did pull it off, and the profile of the club would go up ten fold. The media would go crazy, they may even show us some love instead of hating us ha ha.

We look like clowns when people genuinely think we have a chance of these players coming to us. Why would brand beckham ever come to Cardiff, he's a London boy with every London team outside of arsenal and Chelsea would take him. He's also said he'd never come back to the uk if it wasn't united.

Giggs is now a Manchester lad, he's lived there longer than he has here. He has family and all his friends there. He will coach at united and learn his trade there, we could possibly take him as manager but never ever ever as a player.

I understand its good for the MB to get posters posting, but surely we just look stupid when people buy into this. We will be seen as a laughing stock by any other fans who see our fans who even believe a little that we have a chance of getting Becks.

Even if VT does want to chance his arm, I'd say its a big PR stunt to say this is the type of player we are after... When anyone with a football brain cell understands we have 0% chance and it makes our club look like we have no idea about football.

It is fact that brand Beckham brings in three times as much revenue to the club than what is outgoings are so anyone looking to make a good financial profit and world marketing on him would 'attempt' to bring him in. Whether or not that 'attempt' is 'realisitic' is another matter through.
