That is the hard truth.

Leicester played well today and lost.

Loads of fans ask how we are top and that is the answer for them to take in. I expect Palace to be at us big time down the wings on Boxing Day but if we come out of that with a 1-0 win that is all that matters. Possession only matters if you use it.

I have heard plaudits on GoS say Liverpool have played well all season but do not take their chances. That was like Leicester today plus some superb defending from our lot. We get a chances and we do often take them.

If we are so good and so superior WHY do we keep getting these BLIPS AND WHY do we keep riding our luck We have been first or 2nd in recent seasons past and have had people saying f off were top or were 2nd BUT did we stay there ?.Its not being negative its being real If you accept what we are doing now is great and everyting is fantastic and we have the best side by miles then im sorry you are under an illusion New players MUST be brought in in JANUARY to maintain the top spot and automatic promotion and not ride our luck and finish sides off

Nobody wins every game, nobody plays well every week.

Cardiff City are the best side in this division. Not by a lot. We are not miles better
than Leicester, or Palace, or Hull.

but we ARE a little bit better than them. We ARE that little bit more consistent

I was there today standing next to Carl. I nearly threw him over the balcony when we scored. After that I kept saying to him lets play in their half and we will be fine. Well we looked safe when the ball was in the Leicester half. When it was in our half it was not bad tbh. We should have sealed it well before the end but we did not.

The Facts are that we are top by 3 points at the half way stage averaging a total of 2 points a game. If we mirror the performances and results of the first half in the second we will be promoted! Thats being realistic not going on a few leciester fans opinions based on one game! Malky has done a fantastic job and anyone looking from the outside seeing that we won our first 10 home games and beat the like of leciester and blackburn on the road wouldn't say "how the hell are they top" and if they do they're obviously lacking in some intelligence . People moaning we didnt kill a game off that we won!!?!?!??

Leicester not scoring yesterday cost me enough money to pay for xmas but I wouldnt have it any other way of it meant 3 points.

Roles reversed:

Leicester looked great at times. But in a first half totally dominated by Leicester
it was still the clinical finishing of Cardiff City that made the difference. Then in
the second half, although it was mostly Leicester on top, they didnt really have
more than one or two clear cut chances. Cardiff defended brilliantly away from
home and STILL could have scored one or two more

So if i was a Leicester fan, I'd be far more worried, because Id know my side had
a great chance to close the gap. But Cardiff were just that little bit too organised
...away from home, where they were struggling a few weeks ago!!!
