Listen its all about getting the result, that was a great win after last weeks performance, the boys know how to win.

Give it a rest. I have seen teams like United get smashed off the park by teams like Stoke and West Brom for 75-80 minutes only for United to bring on someone like Hernandez and grab a late winner.

I agree that the bottom line is 3 points but there again Barnsley got 3 points today (not to mention Peterborough last week) and I don't think their underlying problems have been solved.

We do look convincing. We THRASHED Blackburn just over a week ago.

Most pundits reckon it was a sublime performance by the best side in the
division. Peterboro was a glitch.

Today?

Superb, dogged, determined and professional against a side that will be right
up there at the end challenging. We BEAT Leicester away. They will be sick.

Whether we look convinced is really objective but you have outlined exactly what the OP was getting at. One week we can look world beaters the next we look awful (Blackburn/Peterborough). For me that doesn't add up to a 'convincing' team. Your opinion might be different but personally for all the talent we have in what is a very average league quite frankly we should be pissing it.

Only team to stop Leicster from scoring at home, cant complain. Only we had a better home record than they did, alright we got a bit lucky but I was hoping for a draw let alone a win

And no-one is arguing with your valid observasons about todays performance. However, some of us are bright enough to have spotted that despite all of our so called great 1-nilers we also tend to make things hard for ourselves with some terrible performances (Charlton, Peterborogh etc etc) despite having a squad which frankly should be pissing this league

Nobody has a given right to "piss" any league! Look at Man City and Man Utd......on paper Man City's millions should "piss" the premiership but guess what theyre not, they trail what IMO is a poor Utd team! I think we caught peterborough at a bad time, they may just be turning a corner, thought they looked good. But to beat leicester away is awesome so just enjoy.

Hardly dominating craig 4shots 4goals thats what im getting at, even they had more attempts than us its called riding are luck today and blackburn we had both if we went off stats but again like i said above results cover up performances for some fans.

There's a difference between having no hope whatsoever for away games, and understanding 3 points is likely in most of them. I feel the former every time Cardiff play away this season. I really hope this form changes in the new year, as well as keeping their home form (shame we bottled it against Peterborough).

Peterborough lost 2-0 away at Leicester this season and had fewer attempts on target (2) than we did.

I know which result I prefer and maybe just maybe winning today demonstrates exactly why we are in fact top of the League.

Yes i seen the game but we didnt dominate stats are here FOUR shots four goals i've already said they had more chances than us although 51% posession for us can be passed as dominated i guess. Now reverse the result on there stats alone and nobody could have grumbled if they scored more than us, thats my point like the OP said we do not domiate games but are getting wins for some thats all its about like myself but somewhere along the line luck will run out if the stats went for other teams, thats the joys of being a city fan, ups/downs.
