How can i agree with some of whats been said??i like bellemy noon sounds like he is half tidy and maynard who knowa.
But you struggle to keep clean sheets yet many say ours is shit and yours better.
Our wingers have torn premier sides apart again this season yet some say yours are better.
Leon is the real deal in midfield and ki is a class player who is young and getting use to the prem but looks good and has time on the ball.
So how come you aint in the prem id many on here think half of your team is better then ours????

Its pointless taking this thread serious as was started by the dullest c**t on here who bellittles everyones opinions but claims to know nothing about out team. I can't really comment on this, i know nothing about their team, I watched them once on sky v liverpool, where as despite being a close game they were slightly second best.

we are not in the prem with this current team because our season isnt finished yet, your so stupid its unreal.

Re: Come on then??

Tue Dec 18, 2012 4:26 pm

Williams is way overrated, makes so many mistakes so Hudson or Turner would slot in there any day.
Marshall better than Tremmel, he'd make the bench.
Whittingham better than any of your central midfielders, Mutch and Gunnarsson could play in the Prem as well.
Bellamy would walk into your side, as would Rudy Gestede

None cos you're fecking brilliant and will probably smash Man Utd this weekend, they must be shitting themselves.

Assuming all are fit:

--------------Vorm

Rangel Hudson Chico N.Taylor

----Whittingham Britton

-Hernandez Michu Bellamy

------Graham/Maynard

Feel it's a bit light eight in the middle and would probably get overrun but if we stuck to the bore the team to sleep Swansea style then i think it'd be ok.

Otherwise Mutch for Britton

 there is a few.not the obvious ones either in my view.why would whitts have brittons shirt.im no expert on swansea but the kid is very tidy and makes you tick.daft one i might go for is hudson .last season i thought turner was the man for ccfc but this year hudson has been a rock according to this m/b.plus leadership ability.i watched your two on sunday.tbf they played well.some great tackles/blocks.bellamy?ability wise he may be better or has been better than dyer/routlidge but in the modern game would he have the energy to track back 90min a game every game?

nah.i like mutch and would have him at blues tomorrow the only problem is he is the dot cotton of the championship.always something wrong with him  if he could stay fit then he is/can be a very decent player.britton is proven prem class now.

Britton works very well in Swansea's system. Take him out of that system and he would struggle which is why if we weren't playing they're passing game he wouldn't get into the team.

Re: Come on then??

Tue Dec 18, 2012 6:38 pm

Being honest my mixed team would be

Marshall

Rangel
Williams
Hudson
Taylor (Swansea, when fit)

Britton
De Guzman
Whittingham

Bellamy
Michu
Dyer

That would have to be it for me personally.

honestly think if we'd gone at spurs saturday we could have come away with something , it was like sousa was in charge again

to be honest i haven't seen that much of hudson but after watching our two CB's especially sunday they would take some splitting at the moment
whittingham is to lazy and to be honest apart from set plays i really don't rate him that highly and he wasn't good enough the last time he played in the prem , bellamy in my opinion is gone in his day he was top class but that day has gone

Not for me sorry. As much as I rate Noone, Dyer is a quality player and Swansea are very lucky to still have him. Have always rated Dyer and is one player Im surprised hasn't moved on. Hernandez is a good player but blows hot and cold and was the same in La Liga. He had some brilliant performances in the Champions League yet was terrible at times in the league.

We have about 3 or 4 who could get in but it would be tough competition. Chico I do not rate him one bit so I'd put Hudson in for him. A three in midfield with Britton and De Guzman deeper with Whittingham the midfield point of attack and then Bellamy wide left, Dyer wide right with Michu down the middle. Even though Hernandez admirers could easily replace Dyer for him but I rate Dyer really highly.

The OP is forgetting that Bellamy tore a new one in Manchester United in city's 4-3 loss a couple of seasons ago and Bellamy is no different a player now than he was then. Might have been off the boil early this season due to personal reasons but talent wise he is still the same old Bellamy.

I've been honest and said that Swansea are stronger and I think that is obvious. A mixed side would involve 1/3 Cardiff and 2/3 Swansea. If swansealad cant accept that then bugger him. He needs to remember Swansea are an average sized club still punching above their weight and that many other clubs that have done the same have over previous seasons found themselves in a dog fight. Arsenal fans thought they were untouchable and that Wenger would always sell the best and replace and then a few others went and the slip started and now they're in a crisis with fans crying all over forums and radio stations about how Wenger has let the likes of Nasri, Robin and Clichy go. Swansea have done well so far but the sell and replace method only works for so long and when they get in a bum who can't do the job they'll be the ones who are sorry. One day Swansea will sign a Chamakh and it'll hurt them ten times more than crap signings have for Arsenal.

it is amazing .last season vorm was top drawer .this season he has been injured a fair bit i believe but the lad is class.don,t forget no one on here and i,m including the jacks would have been surprised if he went of to one of the top clubs in the summer

I thought Vorm was the one earning all of Swansea's tight points last season. it's disappointed me this season to see that even with Tremmel in goal they've done pretty well

fair point but as you are joining forces with the jacks :D then you will obviously go into the highest league.so that means adapting to the prem style of swansea as it,s proven.so whitts gets to carry leons boots
