Polo, how would you define the word "team"? Gareth didn't emphasise the first team so that's why I included the development 'team' and also mentioned the Academy.

I would class it as the 1st team, and I believe thats what Gareth meant. If he had said "club" only then would I include development and academy players.

If a player says he wants to "get back in the team" he obviously means first team, and wouldnt class being in the development team as being in a "team". IMO.

Its all hypothetical anyway, no point getting worked up over it.
