I can't stand it when Managers make the excuse of..........."it was the ref who lost us the game"..........I was fully expecting it from MM though and said as much as soon as that decision was made to those around me - that will be his excuse for us losing this game - at least he didn't disapoint me!

He didnt blame the ref for the loss. If you read it he said we werent clinical enough to merit a win.

The first line reads :

MALKY MACKAY blamed an “incredible decision” for Championship leaders Cardiff City losing their 100% home record to bottom club Peterborough

Thet certainly sounds like he's blaming the ref - that may be the interviewers summary, but I've never personally heard MM stand up and take any blame on himself - not even after those disastrous performances against West Ham in the play-offs last season.

See now this annoys me.

MM did a 9 minute press conference and of course he was going to comment on the referee when asked but he talked a lot more about the team than the ref. he talked about the chances we had and the shots, about the subs etc
it's the papers that pic up on the ref bit to make a story of it.

I agree with that - they are both about as bad as each other.

He said "WE"

He can hardly say

"i shouldnt have picked McNaughton"

"I shouldn't have made Whitts Captain"

"I shouldnt have played Cowie"

Can he?

How can he comment on his 'mistakes' without singling out the players who let him down?

THAT was a Dave Jones trait. f**k everyone else, dont blame me!!!

So he chose the collective "WE".. as in everyone. Even though Bellamy and Conway (IMO) ran
their bollocks off and deserved to be stood apart from the shite performance.

We were bound to be beaten at home eventually, I'm glad it was a bottom club rather than a club challenging for autos.

I agree theref s decision was wrong but lets be honest the free kick was not covered properly by the wall end of and as for the second well it beggers belief ...........What we missed above all was a leader and some one to recieve the ball and control play but KIMBO was left on the bench
so it was a bad day at the office end of ............We wre beaten by a better side end of

IT NOT THE END OF THE WORLD WE ARE STILL TOP OF THE LEAGUE :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

That sounds like he is blaming the ref for the loss of that goal. Had they not scored then the game takes a totally different shape from a totally different restart of play. The other posts and comments attributed to MM suggest he knows what caused us to lose.

I have to laugh at some on here how can they blame or have a go at Malky we lost one game and its the end of the world, one fact is they did score a free kick that was not a free kick so the ref was a big part of the blame

I was reffering to him blaming the ref, and not acknowledging we were piss poor.
